Very nice hotel, friendly staff and rooms comfortable. Ideal hotel to stay in if you are exploring this part of Scotland as so many lovely places to visit all within 45 minutes - 1 hour to travel. Breakfast first class, lots of choice. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We were over in Scotland for a family visit from Canada. My family had dinner there on our first night staying in Scotland. The food was amazing, the décor lovely, the service fantastic......so good we will be going back there this year!

From the first pint on arrival, through a delicious dinner served in the dining room, with an open fireplace downstairs, we felt relaxed and at home. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was freshly cooked and substantial. Great price even for off season.

Eve and her family created a wonderful environment and reception for our wedding, could not have hoped for better. Not one person left unhappy, the best of times had by all. The room was beautiful, the food marvellous, the staff amazing. Very highly recommended

Lunch with friends. Service very friendly, despite hotel being busy. Disappointingly, the food was well below what it should have been A promising starter of prawn cocktail and salad, garnished with tempura type prawn on a stick, which had the hallmark of pre-packed, cooked from frozen. Acceptable. Main course of haddock and chips was unfortunately for a restaurant, unacceptable. If...

Very comfortable small family owned hotel with nice garden and car parking. Good unintrusive service. We had an excellent bar meal early evening. Breakfast was also good and the bedroom spacious and clean. Please note that payment is by cash or cheque. Recommend this hotel.

We can't thank the staff at the hotel enough, especially Eve for helping us plan our wedding reception. We knew that we were in safe hands as she sat down with us on several occasions to discuss and add great ideas for our special day. The room where the reception was held was decorated beautifully. We would highly recommend this...

We wanted a base to do some cycle touring from, leaving the car behind and stopping overnight at each end of our trip. The hotel could not have been more willing to help and I enjoyed the trip more knowing that the car was safe! The room was spacious, the bar cosy and the food excellent value for money. The...
