I rang up to book knowing nothing about the resort except that we had won a day trip. I rang up to ask what it would cost to stay there for 2 nights and that I don't know anything about there types of accommodation but I need a 2 bedroom for my 18 month to sleep in a separate room....

Hi Darsarah, I would like to apologise on behalf of our whole resort that you had such an upsetting time during your recent stay with us. It is not a good feeling, (nor is it good business) for our guests to depart our shores feeling disappointed. It's clear that you posted this review immediately after experiencing the problems you encountered...

A 4 day stay here has been very pleasurable. The location is excellent, the facilities basic but acceptable, and the food and drink prices very reasonable. The tours are many and varied, and I've found both resort and tour staff friendly and helpful. Particular highlights for me were the snorkelling at the wrecks and the sunset cruise. The Tanga tours...

We appreciate the feedback and you taking the time to share. Unfortunately there were a few negative aspects to your stay, and I will be bringing these up at our...

Thats a very nice review sh0ptillidr0p - thanks for sharing. Thanks for also sharing your photo of the view from the Deep Blue Apartments you were staying in - they are the pick of the accommodation at Tangalooma and the best place to take in the spectacular sunsets with a cool drink in hand and the BBQ firing. You might...

Tangalooma was in the middle of needed renovations. Expected a luxury resort, but it was actually 3 star quality at 4-5 star price. Fabulous location with beach and bush; it was very relaxing. More eateries of higher quality would make a big difference. Recommend going self catering and taking all your supplies with you. Lots of water sports options -...

I recently had the pleasure of a family vacation at the Tangalooma Island Resort for 5 nights. We not only enjoyed the beach and pools, but took advantage of other activities, we snorkelled the wrecks, learnt to ride a Segway and even enjoyed a quad bike tour! The buffet breakfast each morning was amazing! The staff there went above and...

My partner and l spent 10 days from end of January. Was very disappointed. Although the resort was picturesque, we found the food very limited as in the weekly brochure and website shows buffet dinners. Only buffet breakfasts at $28 per head were available and only had 1 hot breakfast out of 10. The Chinese restaurant catered for chinese tourists,...

Hi Janet D, Thanks for your review and feedback on how things can be improved for our future guests Since reading your feedback regarding buffet dining options, I have double-checked our website and ‘Whats-on’ brochure and can confirm that we advertise the buffet-style dining at Tursiops Restaurant, as a Breakfast-only option to our guests. We apologise for any misunderstanding on...

Tangalooma is a resort on Moreton Island, a sand island about an hour's ferry from Brisbane. To be honest, the resort is a tad dated, but it has a lot of charm. Our room was a good size, with a balcony overlooking the pool area and beach. There are plenty of things to do, with a lot of activities on...

The resort is located an hours ferry ride, near Brisbane. It is a virgins place. No sound except of birds chirping and sounds of sea waves. The accommodation is clean and comfortable. The rooms are little away from the main reception and restaurants. Food is good, but not exceptional. One must stay there at least for two days to enjoy...
