Fairly typical out of town/retail park location - bit dated but friendly staff, decent beds, quiet and feee wifi. For a good value stay for local office did the job, burger joint next door is decent and plenty of fast food too. Close to the coast to coast path.

Exactly what you would expect from a Premier Inn? Still in old corporate colours, with rooms having not been recently refurbished. However, very comfortable and very clean, would definitely recommend.

We stayed two nights, staff were friendly and helpful. Ate dinner at the restaurant but was not impressed. No breakfast is served at the restaurant so have to rely upon local facilities. Luckily there is a Costa nearby.

Everything with Premier Inn is consistent, so I know what to expect wherever I am. I don't choose any other hotel nowadays, if I can help it. Excellent value for money, always reliable and simple to use.

Very friendly and welcoming receptionist when we arrived. Reasonable room size. comfortable bed. the restaurant next to the Inn has a fantastic range of yummy food and a great bar with fantastic choices of cocktails. Unfortunately, we had noisy neighbours who knocked on their door at 3 or 4am and they kept talking for about an hour. This resulted in...

This Premier Inn is a little bit dated compared to most. The walls are paper thin and there is no chance of getting any sleep if you have someone talking in the room next door. No breakfast available. However, the restaurant next door is fabulous!

Led to believe breakfast at restaurant next door -this was not the case. Fortunately Costa ,Greggs & Sainsbury near buy but we had to source our own. Rooms small, dull, bathroom tiny not up,to usual standard. Staff very helpful and friendly. Location excellent for Stadium of Light and town

I stay in lots of premier inns. This was very basic in comparison and in desperate need of a refurb as it still has keys. The room was clean and sufficient but felt cold and needed the heating on. The bathroom had half a bath. Which for someone who is 6ft 5 meant no bath for me. Shower was good...
