We absolutely loved the old-world charm of this beautifully cozy, boutique hotel! The interiors give the impression you're staying in a well-preserved, family heritage home. The courtyard and surrounding area is picture-perfect and the location, very central. In the rooms, the rosemåling and antique furniture is decorated amazingly well and the rooms are incredibly comfortable - all this at a...

Small family run hotel and venue place, which is a hidden gem in the most beautiful part of Larvik. Only 8 rooms, but the court yard is so amazing, and I can't praize the people running it enough. It is my "home" when I am in Larvik.

A wonderful accommodation in a beautiful building with lovely inner courtyard. Everything about this place is really charming. In the mornings your host will leave you a simple but enjoyable breakfast in the fridge while you make your own coffee.

We stayed here as it was close to the colour line ferry and we had an early start the next day. It was very comfortable and the owners very helpful- even giving my husband a much needed beer after a long day driving! The rooms were charming and while the breakfast was simple- it suited us with our early departure....

A lot of heart was put in decorating this room (1), wonderful atmosphere, tasty breakfast (put in our fridge in the evening before), warm and hostile welcome with suggestions of what to see and do! This a special place to stay, we like it even though it is off season!

The furnishing certainly has a "grandmotherly" ambiance to it with its old furnitures. My room was clean and tidy, the bed ok, but the pillow a bit to thick for my liking. However, the walls are paper thin and you will hear most of what your neighbors are doing. Me and my neighbor seemed to be the only ones staying...

Walking distance from bus and railway, situated in one of the neatest areas of town, with a swimming spor right around the corner. Owners run an antiques shop, which show in the decorations of the hotel rooms, heavily inclined towards Norwegian national-romanticism. If you happen to be a fan, the place is a treasure grove. No breakfast, but decent facilities...

We were not sure what to expect, especially in terms of decor, but we were really happy with our room and stay. The antique furnishings were charming, not over the top, we had a small, modern en suite bathroom, and a kitchen nook with a fridge and small stove that let us fix our own breakfast. Adequate kitchen gear to...

The rooms are well decorated with antique furniture and clean, but the owners clearly hate the fact they earn their livelihood from their guest house. There is no breakfast (which is not completely clear from the website), there was no information in the room and the owners were totally unwelcoming and brusque. The worst part was when we were leaving...
