Poor location. no restaurant. Left by accident my earphones in my room and could not get them back even after several tries. There is a SOKOS hotel across the street (Flamingo). Rooms also very noisy. No possibility to iron clothes in the rooms. Overall one of the worst hotels in greater helsinki area
I stayed one night between flights. There's a free shuttle bus, it's about ten minutes to the hotel. The room was clean, spacious and modern. Hot shower, comfortable bed. Breakfast was great, a good gluten- and dairy-free selection. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Highly recommended.
Due to the Coronavirus, I had to rebook my flight and was pleasantly surprised that rebooking my room was no problem. The shuttle bus service was very handy and one reason why I chose this hotel. Having breakfast at 5:30 was another surprisingly nice experience, plenty of barista oat milk on display and even a small vegan/gluten-free corner. Highly recommendable!
This hotel is under Scandic standards. Rooms are really basic, we found hair from a pillow, also the windows has been suffering some kind of moisture problems as seen In the photo so there is risk of mold in the room. Receptionists are nice and service is good. Cleaner came inside the room with his keys early in the morning. There are many other, better hotels next to airport.
Nice and clean hotel near the airport, for an overnight. Clean room and friendly staff. Good bed, and nice and warm. Only downside was the breakfast, scrambled eggs cold and bacon very salty. Coffee was good tough..Do not think I would advise for a longer stay, the overnight was the best it could do for this facility
Stayed overnight in a family room due to a 12 hour stopover in Helsinki. Good breakfast quiet and good room. Very basic bathrooom but clean. Friendly staff. Shuttle bus to the airport worked well. Cheaper than the Scandinavian right at the airport.
Stayed here one night as a stopover. Handy free shuttle bus was good. Make sure you check times though as there is a two hour gap at lunchtime on the weekend when it doesn’t run. Location of the hotel was ok as an airport stay. Restaurant is closed at the weekend it seems and you have to use the other hotel a short walk away if you want dinner. Have to say, prices were extortionate (coming from the Uk). We brought our own picnic. The room itself was very nice, quiet, clean and modern. Breakfast was DELICIOUS- a good variety of food and some Finnish food to try too, Would stay here again as it was one of the better priced hotels.
Room was tidy and quiet, but it was also small and nothing special. I had askekd for a double bed but we had two small singles in the room (plus a single bed for our child). Breakfast was a chaos. One person working on the floor, no one checking if we even stayed at the hotel, every table full etc. There was plenty to eat but getting to it was a bit of a task - not what you want first thing in the morning. We have stayed in Scandic right next to the airport and well as the Hilton there and I would recommend going to one of these if you want to stay at the airport. We got a Flamingo Spa voucher for the stay in the hotel which also was a bit inconvenient as the spa actually was on the other side of a big road. No one told us we needed to take our own towels with us or that a family wouldn't be able to share a changing room together. A little bit of customer service would go a long way the customer doesn't know to ask all the questions. …
We spent two nights at Aviapolis. The service was excellent, our room was spacious and very clean. We got the Flamingo spa package with the tickets to spa. Hotel is very close to the spa and aviapolis train station, both are about 15 minutes walk away. Will come again, highly recommend. Can recommend the restaurant of the hotel.
Stayed only for one night so i don't have any clue of the food, but the room was clean and everything worked fine. The free bus to and from the airport was a big plus. Hotel has a good parking lot and it is not so far away from the airport.
