Obviously as an airport hotel we didn't stay long, but rooms comfortable, staff friendly and perfect location just a couple of minutes walk to T2 check-in desks. Does what it says. Didn't try breakfast as we had an early flight.
Great modern hotel in a great location (access straight to the terminal), friendly staff in the reception and in the restaurant. Breakfast blew me away: there was everything anybody would want for breakfast. Only thing I would like to bring up: there was no vegetarian dish on the dinner menu but the kitchen made a plentiful salad for me.
I was supposed to stay in the hotel already in April, but had to leve after 15 minutes. Reception called me soon after chech out to ask if I wanted to change my reservation to another day. What a great service! I changed my reservatin to June and had a very good stay at this nice hotel. Bed was comfortable, room was clean and breafast was delicius. Thank you, I will defenetly come back again!
Stayed one night, no issues with room. On check out the card machine was not working so was asked if I minded the charge my card later when their system back up and running. No problem I said, however payment was taken twice at over 300 Euro. Despite numerous calls, emails chasing the payment to be repaid I still have not received any refund. Despite numerous false apologies it is over 40 days and again I have been told they are "working on it". Absolutely disgraceful customer service and certainly not what you expect from a company such as Scandic. Would never stay here again.
Like, I'm sure, most peole we only stayed for one night while in transit but nevertheless we were made to feel welcome both at reception and in the bar. Price I thought were fair for an airport hotel.
Overall, we had a great stay and I'd like to give 4.5 stars: - Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Much appreciated. - Great flexibility was given to our circumstances. - The two downsides were: 1) The bathroom has a permanent light in the ceiling that cannot be switched off - strange! We had to use sticky tape to cover the light so that we could sleep in the night. 2) There was no kettle and teabags in the room - I'm used to enjoy a cuppa at any hotel I go to, so this was missing for me. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and recommend this hotel.
Good gym, not a typical hotel one but a more traditional and "bare". The room was very nice and very functional. Especially the fantastic bathroom was a plus. The breakfast was also tasty and the scrabled eggs were one of the best!
This is a good, fresh and relatively new hotel located just next to the terminal. You will reach it by a maximum 5 min walk. The entrance is a bit strange but when finally entering the lobby it provides a welcoming and modern feeling. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful and the check-in was smooth. The room was clean and modern and the bathroom was spacious. The sound insulation is perfect and I didn’t hear any noise from the airport. The gym was located in the basement and you almost needed to exit the hotel to reach it. On the other hand it was a large gym with a lot of equipment. Breakfast was good with enough to choose from and they also offer early breakfast from 4 o’clock if I remember correctly.
Hotel was clean and tidy, check in was easy. Room was average size for a family, was around 2 feet between the beds which sufficed. Didn't have loads of storage space but enough surfaces to put suitcases on. Breakfast was served early and was good, great selection of cereals, fruits, meats and cheeses. Would stay here again.
Stayed here for one night one week, and a second night the next week. Both due to long delays between connecting flights. Arriving late at night, due to Covid restrictions, all airport and hotel eating facilities were closed! How ridiculous. Not the hotels fault but perhaps warn your planned guests in advance so they can make alternative arrangements. I am not sure why 24hr room service can't be possible - may be that is a covid restriction too and everyone is expected to starve after 9pm. The hotel is close to the airport, quiet, pleasant. You walk outside and across a car park to get to it. The Hilton is right next door. The rooms are far too hot, and can't be turned cooler than 21'. Windows don't open. No tea and coffee making facilities in the room. So on top of not being able to eat after a long trip, there was no ability to make yourself a drink unless you go back to reception and use the machine there. For a 4* hotel, this is not acceptable. Breakfast was average. Staff polite. Room appeared clean. Bathroom nice. More expensive than its neighbour (The Hilton) and in my opinion, expensive and not good value for money when you can't even make yourself a drink when you first wake up. Sorry guys, I won't be staying again.…
