If you're looking for a place to escape the city life and crowd then Cow Bay is the place to be. There's no mobile phone signal so there's no way for the office to disturb your holiday! No FB, emails, sms, twitter = no distractions. We felt released from the clasps of technology...not needing to check the phone in case...

Thank you for your great review and insights given to other travellers to this area. Thank you for your concern about the night walk guide; he is better now. Looking forward to your next visit 'down' here.

This beautifully located B&B is a wonderful place to come and relax, with two guests bedrooms sharing an annex with communal day lounge and rear decking to the garden. It is only 15 mins walk to Cow Bay, the best beach on the Cape Trib coast. The host Marrion is lovely and takes great care of you offering good breakfasts...

She welcomed us to her property and gave us a thorough run down of the area and made some very good recommendations, including...

We stayed at Cow Bay Homestay for 4 nights and just loved it. Host Marion was fantastic in the lead up to our visit and while we were there; she welcomed us with warmth, was a wealth of information and made great recommendations about things to do in FNQ. She was very accommodating and put on a lovely breakfast of...

Our decision to visit Cow Bay Homestay was prompted as much by price as it was by location. It is fair to stay that we were staggered to arrive and find what a beautiful place we had chosen, and what value-for-money we were getting. But the really memorable part was coming home two days later, feeling as refreshed and energised...

We stayed here on our 'babymoon' - our last holiday together before our first child was born. It was simply the best B&B I have ever stayed in. We arrived in the afternoon and were met by the lovely Marion, whose first question was "how do you feel about full moon rises?" We jumped in her car and whizzed down...

A super nice and relaxing place in middle of the rainforest. It is not too far away from areas attractions and within walking distance from Cow Bay beach. The house itself had very relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. Marion was very helpfull and welcoming. The only downside with the whole area in general was evening dinner options were very limited. It...

Thank you for writing this lovely review for us. Most guests have the same sentiment, whishing that they could stay longer. Regarding dinner options, here are 3 restaurants here in Cow Bay, one half way to Cape Tribulation and four in Cape Tribulation not counting the pizza place. All of these receive very good comments from our guests. Some of...

My husband and I stayed at Cow Bay Homestay for 2 nights.
