Visit this lovely friendly pub when ever we are walking in the White Peak. Landlord and staff always very welcoming, despite the fact that we and the dog are usually muddy. Food reasonably priced and well presented . (They do doggy snacks too)

Starters were delicious. We had the black pudding fritters and Derbyshire oatcakes. Fish and chips were good but nothing special. Pub had a nice atmosphere. Nice decor and friendly staff. Would come back here.

Yes, I believe so. When we visited one of the other diners had a dog with them. Admittedly, I think they are a local and frequent visitor but I don't see why they would treat them differently.
