This place could be classed as another wonder of the world. the food plentiful and good. Best part was putting on a life jacket and jumping into the river and floating past all the units and getting and doing it all again.

good place ...very peaceful...very quiet...we stayed 3 nights..the only problem is that if you dont book in time your excursions you have to stay at the hotel...there are a lot of things to do in this area...erewan falls for example...

Couldn't be more relaxing after couple of hectic days in Bankok. It was fancy to realize that the film group for Deer Hunter had stayed here as well :) Visiting Mons village school was special. Kids are the same where ever you go.

Can not stress enough how absolutely beautiful this location is , the accommodation however was poorly laid out. We booked for 4 nights, stayed only 3, had enough. We arrived by taxi from Bangkok then took the short boat ride to the rafts, first impression was wow !!!! Something totally different, we checked in and had room number 1 ,...

a short boat trip down the river kwai brings you to these awesome raft houses. basic accommodation but heaps of fun, and something very different. my 6yo daughter just loved jumping in the river. keep in mind there is no electricity, so basically turn off mobiles/devices and chill out

The resort is really in the forest, peaceful and relaxing. Service is great, people are kind and helpful. Lanterns at night is beautiful. It made me realize how nice and quiet and peaceful life I have. Sky at night is amazing. How long time I did not enjoy just lying down looking at he stars. I am going back again...

Well organised and over delivered on our expectations. The food was excellent as were all the staff. Our guide Bligh was excellent and wonderful to see how his people and family live. Also enjoyed interaction with the elephants.

Accomodation is indeed very basic. It's a tourisitic place but still very nice. I enjoyed my three days there. I also liked the excursions. Especially the ones around the river Kwai bridge and the hellfire pass. Liked the fact that there war no wi-fi and electricity. Made me calm down for a while. Nights are really cold in December.

Unfortunately we only stayed here for 1 night! Very nice area, and back to basic so very relaxed. No electricity, no wifi, but excellent food, pleasant atmosphere with the oil lamps, we jumped in the water and floated like kids (and then again, and again, and ..). Bring some books, games, forget all your electronics and enjoy!
