After 2 relaxing weeks spent on beaches in the south of Thailand, we took our family to Spicy Villa in the northern jungles hoping for a change of scene and a more immersive cultural experience. We were not disappointed. We had a family bungalow on bamboo poles (2 double rooms with a simple bathroom and an adjoining deck) with views...

We had the best time visiting Spicy Villa. We are a group of 4 backpackers who stayed for 2 nights in the family bungalow and did the bamboo rafting plus elephant camp. Our guide Boon was wonderful-drove us to all the activities and answered all of our questions. Food at the Villa was always delicious and filling. Rooms were clean...

I stayed at Spicy Villa for one night of a three day program and it was amazing! I could not have asked for a better program. I was able to do three days of trekking, two cooking classes, a stay at Spicy Villa, a home stay in a Karen Village, played with elephants, and went down a river on a...

Comfortable stay. Very cute lodging. They grow many of their own crops and recycle/compost (often hard to find that in Thailand). The guides/employees were very friendly and entertaining. Bring some cash for beer, wine, alcohol and bottled water. Also bring your own soap, a flashlight and a sweatshirt as it gets chilly at night! They do have outlets in your...

As part of our two day trip with Next Step Thailand, my husband and I spent the night in Spicy Villa. On the edge of a mountainside overlooking waterfalls and rice paddies, Spicy Village feels like an adult treehouse. What it lacked in 21st century amenities, it more than made up for in its views and welcoming community. It is...

The location of Spicy Villa Eco Lodge is unforgettable. Waking up every morning with the mountains and the jungle forming a photo through the frame of our window is a view we will treasure as we continue our journey through Thailand! The staff at the eco lodge were all very friendly and accommodating, they are a beautiful community working together...

Quiet, beautiful, and down to earth. Off the beaten track spicy villa offers a unique experience for the more adventurous traveler. The people are very friendly and the beds are comfy, but don't expect much in the way of a hot shower or a place to charge your phone. We did a cooking course there and it was fabulous.

From the minute we got in touch, everything had been very well organised. We stayed for 2 nights from the 10th to the 12th of April. Samart was able to personalise the experience to give us the most out of our time and to cater to our needs. From the minute Kwan picked us up at the airport, we were...

The Spicy Villa Eco Lodge is situated on a hillside, with gorgeous views across the rural fields that lie below. I was excited to be immersing ourselves in nature and a completely different way of life for a few days, even if that meant roughing it a little. We had a private bungalow with a bathroom, and although basic, it...
