We decided we wanted to stay on Koh Muk for a couple of days as we are island hopping through Thailand down to Malaysia. And after a lot of research, we plumped for Charlie Beach Resort. It was more expensive than most of the hotels we've stayed in but felt a bit more luxurious. Large spacious room, good air conditioning,...

This hotel is located on a stunningly beautiful bay. Wide, clean beach, sandy bottom sea, great for swimming, great for lounging. Plenty of shade trees as well. Awesome pool overlooks the beach and surrounding hills. Coconut trees everywhere. There is a small mini mart on site selling snacks, water, beer. The staff were all friendly, great job. They have a...

At 50EUR a night for a tiny little bamboo bungalow, open to all sorts of crawlies and not working WIFI this is only one star. Especially knowing what you can get for that money on many other islands in that area.

This place have all it need for having a great time on The Island but The bed is Terrible, did not sleep one Night of 6. Breackfast Buffet was never full up! Staff who do not Care! Feel like it was a place for charters. Too many People and less care.

This place is so great, even the best stay we have been on in Thailand. The beach is absolut the best on Koh Mook also when the tide is low. A tip: rent a kayak and paddle to the cave about 30 min. away.

Cons The Bamboo chalets are really not isolated and all the wildlife can easily enter the rooms. We have found in our room a lizard (don't get me wrong, not a geko, about 5 times bigger than that), a frog and a mouse. It really was terrifying experience. When told the staff, they replied with the classical "Ahhhhhh" and changed...

I was pretty nervous after reading all the terrible reviews for Charlie... but this is where our dear friends chose to have their destination wedding so we figured it couldn't be too bad! Phew, so glad that we were right! While it is definitely not a 4 or 5-star hotel, and the employees aren't over the top with the "Thai...

Best spot we visited during our month long Thai visit. The accom is expensive for what it is. we opted for the only available room which was a bungalow. Ridiculously cute, with a mattress on the floor and a mosquito net, but riddled with bed bugs. Took us 2 nights to figure out they weren't mossie bites. None the less...

Nice and clean bungalows right at the beach. Breakfast is great. Beautiful and peaceful place and the best beach in the island. Had very relaxing vacation. Would recommend for people who seek a peaceful resort. There is a pool which is suitable for kids as well. You can take a daytrip to other islands nearby and rent a kayak for...

The place is nice and beach is nice. But! They have to do something about their service. How about a smile? When we checked out we felt like thieves when we hadde used the minibar. The bungalow was basic and very small. This place is quite large and you feel like they just want your money. No hospitality.
