Raja Ampat Dive Lodge (RADL) is located on the island of Mansuar in the Dampier Strait off South of Waigeo and North of Batanta. It is strategically positioned in the heart of the most spectacular dive sites of Northern Raja Ampat. A short boat ride takes you to the famous manta aggregation site of Manta Ridge and the fish tornadoes off Cape Kri. RADL is built along the fine white sands of Yenpapir Beach and backs into a pristine tropical rainforest. The resort stretches across the cove with the nearest village a 20 minute walk away. Small mangrove clusters provide shelter for many juveniles and the reef in front of the resort is a heaven for snorkelers. The beach fronting the resort is extremely child friendly with a gently sloping beach and crystal clear waters that calmly caresses the shore. Comfortably designed with ecological awareness coupled with Balinese artistry, RADL offer divers and holiday makers a practical, comfortable and affordable diving and snorkeling environment

I always go diving with Grand Komodo Liveaboard services, but during this pandemic I stayed in their land-based facility, Raja Ampat Dive Lodge. I love it even better than LOBs! I managed to go to my dream sites, not to mention Grand Komodo's well experienced dive guides. Each room has 9 electrical outlets - dream room for avid UW photographers, and Daikin AC to ensure that your room stays comfortably cool in this hot climate. Bedroom floor, although made of wood, is super celan the faucet, washbasin, shower are not only clean, but new. Bedsheets smells fresh and last but not least, meal times are always worth waiting for.

We had a great experience with a couple caveats. The dive operation was smooth. They were willing to travel to sites that seemed to be at least 20 minutes away without a fear of using fuel. They cleaner our gear at the end of the trip. They have very few divers per guide, but sometimes you dove with the two groups sort of together. English was not super great, but it was not a problem. The service at the front desk was great. They happily helped you with all of your questions and needs. The air conditioning was a little problematic. One night it was hot and one day it seemed to turn off, but they did try to help as right away and it did end up working again. There was hot water. The floating bar and lounge chairs were awesome for having a drink at sunset. The beds were pretty firm. The food is the main negative. It was not very good, but if you want air conditioning and to dive the Dampier Strait, then it is worth dealing with the food. I never went hungry. I went on a liveaboard after this and it was amazing and I much prefer that, but PADL was much cheaper. I would ask if they would go to Mayhem and Melissas Garden dive sites, b/c those you should not miss, but are kind of far.

My experience of staying at Raja Ampat dive lodge was simply fantastic: the location and the house reef are marvellous, and the lodges are very well built, facing the beach; the whole atmosphere is just lovely.
Best part of this lodge are the staff!!. My appreciation goes to all from Mr. Tony, the manager to Tobias, Giuseppe, the tour guide Diego, and the pilot and assistants of the boat Hassan and Nadus. People at the restaurant and kitchen dished some tasty food (Thank you).Everyone was so friendly (very characteristic, Indonesian) and so much fun to interact with.
Highly recommended

This is paradise! Is a fantastic resort, in the middle of nature with an amazing sea view from the room and sunset!
We took the snorking package of 1 week and our guide and the crew was friendly and always willing to help on our needs ( allowed us to stay more in our favorites places)
At the resort the chef cooked for us special meals ( no spicy and more into western) and all the staff were willing to help us.
The rooms have ac and hot water. Everything worked perfect!
Thank you pak Henry and all the staff for the amazing week we had!

It is very difficult to get to islands in Raja Ampat area.
Raja Ampat Dive Lodge made it smooth to me ... sending people to pick me up in Sorong, sending to ferry, in Waisai sending to speedy boat till I got to the place

I also dreamed of seeing those scattered tiny little islands called Wayag .. although min 4pax, Lodge manager - Pak Tony managed to find a small boat for me, solo

Place is very comfortable, food great without losing the feeling of being in a very remote area of the world.

Pak Tony and his team treat you very well ... recommended !!!

Peaceful, nature-touch and eco friendly resort in the mid of world diving destination Raja Ampat, Indonesia. There is jetty dive spot where you can do snorkeling, see many species of fish, especially “Walking shark”!!. After diving or snorkeling, you can relax at the outdoor beach bar or local spa.

One of the most idyllic tropical settings I’ve ever seen. Comfortable but not luxurious rooms equipped with air conditioning and bar fridge. Commanding ocean views. Magnificent sandy beach bordering a coral lagoon with abundant marine life ie reef sharks, walking sharks, barracuda, lion fish etc. Friendly helpful staff. Excellent food at all meals.
The snorkelling trips to other dive spots were breathtaking particularly Piaynemo.
Highly recommend this accommodation.

Absolutely gorgeous place in the middle of a palm garden and close to the best dive sites of Raja Ampat (Dampier street). Very lovely staff and dive crew. Nice bungalows close to the small white beach.

we are 2 female divers who went for one week to this remote dive lodge to dive twice a day and relax. there was no manager or any other guests. the resort was left to the staff to run. the dive guides were local and spoke bad English. they were not capable of giving good briefings for the dives. they did not have enough dive equipment or sizes for wetsuits. they only had 5 mm wetsuits in 30 degree water! the staff used the installations so we did not feel free to use the beach chairs or tables. the two dive guides were always with us even when we dined. they would insinuate sexual things all the time and would always be touching us. they were very persisitent until the last day. we could not get off the island as only once a week they went to main land. we put in our complaints direct with the owner, WHO ONLY APOLOGIZED, DID NOT FIRE THE LOCAL GUIDES, AND WISHED WE WOULD RETURN! HAHAHA. I hope our travel agent, SAFARI TOURS, MANADO, does not send anymore people there. if anyone wants more details on what happened, there is a long list of sexual insinuations left with the travel agent and the lodge. we felt they behaved unprofessionally and inappropriate. the diving was SUPERB! VERY UNFORTUNATE THAT PARADISE CAN BE RUINED BY ITS OWN PEOPLE! And they never picked up trash wherever we went. we did it for them. I strongly recommend to do liveabords in this area of the world, as opposed to dive resorts. you see alot more and liveaboards are very professionally run. we did one in the Komodo area of Indonesia and it was outstanding!

I was the other guest with Myrna B at the Dive Lodge and can back up her experience . Her recount is completely accurate. It is such a shame that when left to themselves, without any management at all at the resort, the dive staff took it upon themselves to sexually harrass us. We were the only guests there and felt uncomfortable the whole time. The staff used all the resort facilities, sleeping and lounging around. The television next to the office was blaring every night with their programs while staff surfed the internet and generally enjoyed a vacation themselves at our expense. WE tried to ignore the sleezy come ons by the dive staff, then we asked them to stop, that we were not interested but that just seemed to egg them on. Non stop they continued even when we were at dinner. Constantly telling us they wanted sex with us for fun! Touching and grabbing us, it was disgusting. No management to complain to and stuck on the island for a week. We asked several times for the name and contact info for management and were told they were in Bali. This beautiful place was ruined for us by the staff. We had travelled from Mexico for 3 days to come and dive here , a very expensive trip, to be treated this way was just unbelievable! How unfortunate in this beautiful place, some of the best diving in the world, this was how guests were treated. The facilities are very nice and when management is onsite these problems are probably not an issue but I CANNOT in good faith recommend this resort, especially to women travelling alone. We are very experienced divers from the Mexican Caribbean and are involved with the tourist industry and have never experienced anythng like this before. When we complained to our travel agency, they were very good at informimg the management for us and we did receive a visit and a fruit basket from the Dive Lodge on our last day in Bali before returning to Mexico. So a $3000 US week of harrassment for beautiful diving. Now I need a vacation.
