I had booked multiple rooms and very happy with the rooms and service I was provided. We arrived late in the evening and there was plenty of room in the carpark. Was greeted by John at reception who was very welcoming and we had a nice conversation. Special mention to both Larissa and Diane who were the Housekeepers who cleaned the rooms and thank you to Diane who left a lovely note jn the room for my family. Rooms were very spacious and beds was comfortable and had a great night sleep , didnt sound like we were rhe main road at all. Once again couldn't fault the service. The room was a bit dated however having an older TV model so couldn't connect my devices wirelessly, like tou can now do in a lot of PI,Lack of charging ports especially near the bedside and ultimate WiFi didn't work and there was no signal in the most parts of the room, had to go outside to send/receive messages …
A pleasant Premier Inn with easy access to the M55. Close to a canal and pubs. Friendly and helpful staff - and very good evening meals in the restaurant and we're quite fussy - compliments to the chef!
Room was fine, too hot and reducing thermostat didn’t stop radiator from turning on, other than that clean room comfy and good breakfast, plenty of small pubs and restaurants for one night to choose from. John, who served us when we arrived was friendly and extremely helpful! Would happily stay here again
Fab welcome, everything as you would expect for a premier inn (albeit this is an older model) spotlessly clean. Chef and brewer pub on site was also great for dinner and provides the breakfast if you’ve booked Quiet site - no noticeable Road noise (we were at the back facing fields)
One night at this hotel with family, very good place close to main road but not noticedat all, definitely value for money, big family room. If will be around definitely will use again.... Thank you 😊
We had a fantastic stay! The team were very friendly and attentive. Beautiful surroundings and we would definitely stay again. The pub next door did a nice breakfast! It's very close to the motorway and a perfect location to stop before going to the south lakes.
In correct postcode given on booking confirmation which meant we couldn’t find the Premier Inn Preston North until I phoned the Inn to double check the postcode We wanted to have dinner at the restaurant attached to this Premier Inn but we’re turned away because ‘they weren’t taking walk-ins because the kitchen was too busy’.
I stayed here for bank hol as I came for trips out at Blackpool. 25 minutes away from pleasure beach so was great location and good for the price. Breakfast was £9.50 each and children ate free. The full English breakfast you could only order once and wasn’t continental which was disappointing. The continental section was varied didn’t really have much on offer. Most of the time the juice jugs were empty but it was still lovely. The room was lovely we were on the ground floor with our little one so was easy access for pram. No noise either was lovely! Only improvement I would say is the bathroom needs a little bit improvement was just generally unclean. Mould around bath toilet wasn’t very clean when we arrived. Radiator could do with some cleaning as it was really dirty and dusty. But just needs an improvement which won’t affect my score. Maybe just bathroom more cleaner and the breakfast to be a little bit better.…
Overall I have no problem with Premier inn. Their hotels are generally clean and tidy and the staff are friendly and courteous as was the case with this branch of Premier inn. We were using it to break our journey to Scotland for a wedding, so when you have driven for 6 hours you are ready for a break and something to eat. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed which was disappointing. Luckily the staff in the bar recommended a nearby pub which was serving food. Breakfast was lovely and the staff at the restaurant very nice. I would ask Premier inn to seriously consider having air conditioning installed in all its branches as the room really was too warm to get a good nights sleep
We stayed at this hotel as it was the midway point on a long drive from Scotland to the south of England. We’ve stayed in a few Premier In. Family rooms in the last year in different locations and they’ve been great but we were really disappointed with our room at this hotel. The main door on our room (room 20) had a broken security lock, which was concerning as our door was right next to the ground floor fire escape. The room itself smelled musty and the carpet felt sticky, but the beds themselves were clean and comfy. The bathroom was really dated and smelled musty , it had mould in some places on the bath and skirting boards, abd the floor didn’t look very clean in places. The bath had an imprint of what looked like a bathmat with dirty marks where the suckers had been. We travelled later than we’d anticipated snd didn’t arrive at the hotel until 11.40pm so although the room wasn’t great we stayed there and went straight to bed as it was so late. John who checked us in was very welcoming when we arrived. The shower in the morning was powerful but we did feel uneasy using the bathroom due to it not looking very clean. We went for breakfast in the pub across from the hotel and there was a sign on the door saying no food was being served that day, but they did serve us breakfast, which wasn’t the best Premier Inn breakfast we’ve ever had, if we are being honest. Our teenagers usually live their Premier Inn breakfast but all of us left most of the food as it wasn’t very nice. There were only a couple of women serving and I think they were run off their feet. I mentioned the issues with the room at checkout to the three women who were standing behind the desk, and got a ‘thanks fir telling us’ but not sure if any of it can/ will be rectified, as I think the room needs a general redecoration. There are other lots of other hotels available on our route south so we won’t be staying at this one again unless it gets refurbished.…
