Six dinners who all chose a variety of dishes from early bird & al a carte menu all equally delicious. Service was excellent and a lovely friendly cosy atmosphere in this beautiful old building. Should imagine outside dining in summer would also be something worth experiencing.

We had enjoyed a lunch at Shibden Mill before Christmas and immediately knew that we had to come back for the full experience. Managed to get a room booked, so that we could stay over. We started the evening with the gin tray, well, when you like gin, it would be rude not to. A choice of 3 gins, all...

On a cold grey and drab February Saturday I went with a friend to this lovely 17th century Inn was the perfect place to get away and relax for a few hours. We sat near a magnificent real fire. We went for the Set lunch menu at £14.50 for 2 courses or £17.50 for 3. To start, I had grilled...

Heard so much about this place over the years, so suggested to give it a go for a nights stay and evening meal. Upon arrival we were given a fabulous welcome and found the decor to be so warm and welcoming in the main public areas. The gentleman who checked us in, showed us to our room and offered to...

My partner took me here as a surprise birthday present. He booked the suite and it was breathtaking! Large walk in waterfall shower, bath in the room, private patio, dressing gowns, huge bed and stunning design. There were other little touches that made it feel like pure luxury. It was the BEST preset ever. The Inn overall is lovely. Quirky...

Had a lovely lunch here today. Waitresses nice enough, nice atmosphere and decent food. However it's not a place to come every time as it was quite expensive for the lunch menu. On the other hand I don't know what it will be like with the tea time menu. Thankyou for a nice time though

We visited here on the 27th December for a family lunch based on previous reviews, we could not have chosen better, what a lovely place with great food, reasonably priced and attentive staff. The atmosphere was lovely as was the surroundings. Would have not hesitation in recommending to anyone. Thank you for looking after us so well

Another year, another Christmas lunch. Happily the quality of the food and service here remains consistently high. The food is tasty and well presented - none of this "conveyor belt Christmas" where everybody's meal looks identical. It's a lovely setting and I would recommend eating (or drinking) here any time of year, but at Christmas it's so cozy. I only...

The Inn itself is beautiful and lots of care has been put into the details which make it feel cosy and homely. The surroundings are peaceful and there are plenty of places to park. The facilities in the room are great, more than you often get in similar venues. Modern magazines and a 'proper' hairdryer as well as a robe...
