Stayed one night as this hotel is very convenient for Tiverton Parkway Station. I arrived late and was given a large room which was a bit cold (no heating switched on ) and dated but also clean and functional. I went to have a meal there and was warmly greeted by the waitress in the busy and comfortable restaurant. I...

The bedrooms are as good as the Travelodge nearby - and it is cheaper, particularly considering the inclusion of a very good breakfast and the fact that you can cancel without penalty. It is a Marstons House - and they generally have good standard pub food, probably centrally provided. The room was very cold on the first night - it...

We visited the Waterloo Cross last Friday and had a very good meal. The staff were friendly, the service was quick and our food allergies were cater for. Our meals were very tasty, well presented and piping hot. We will visit again when we are in the area.

Visited on a Saturday with family. Took a long time for food to come out (about 45 mins) with no warning. All of the food looked and tasted as though it had been kept warm for some time (dry chips etc). One family member couldn't eat their meal it looked so unappetising. Upon raising our concerns, staff were more concerned...

We have often considered staying at Waterloo Cross as it is so convenient for Tiverton Parkway Railway Station but have been put off by some of the reviews. This time we decided to give it a try. We found the bar/restaurant very warm, welcoming and comfortable. The evening meal was very good and there was a good selection to choose...

Outstanding food, best impression about traditional british cuisine for my parents. Huge and super deliciuous portions and huge thumbs up!! Every time I go there I have better and better impression. Really happy about gluten free vegan options, which is quite rare in devon

Good food and very reasonable rates to stay two nights. Room chilly and noisy from early traffic. Basic rooms that need double glazing to keep some heat in from the very old heater. Good for business stay but not holiday. Staff very pleasant and well run but....,

We visited on a bank Holiday Monday in The new year and it certainly is a popular place! It's easy to see why. The atmosphere was lovely, the decor is smart yet casual and homely. The food we chose was the variations of chicken- two of us are gluten free and this wasn't a problem. The gluten free menu is...

We went to this nice pub for Christmas lunch on Christmas day. The pub is nice and modern with a comfortable relaxed atmosphere. Staff were friendly and attentive. The meal itself was excellent, I had steak which was cooked to perfection. All 4 courses were lovely and the food was well cooked, fresh and hot. The only tiny issue was...
