We have already visited this manor hotel twice. And have not been disapointed. The building has been carefully renovated. The rooms are nice and plentiful in the old style. Nice bathroom with many amenities . Very clean. This hotel is for people who are looking for peace after the stressful day or week in the city. And with gourmet restaurant...

We've visited a lot of manors and guest houses - both in Latvia and outside. And I can ensure you - it's hardly possible to find such a well-looking, greatly decorated and carefully renowned place to enjoy your stay and feel, well... quite kingly.

Stunning manor house hotel, with gorgeous rooms decorated with antique details whilst being modern and comfortable. Our room had a beautiful pedestal bath and the staff were extremely attentive throughout our stay, delivering a free bottle of wine to our hotel room each evening. The breakfast was nice, changing daily; so one day the hot option was a cooked breakfast,...

I have been there few times. First, we stayed there for a weekend getaway - staff was nice, a good atmosphere and great food. Second time we went there with colleague during Christmas time to have dinner. Both time it was a good experience enjoying nice food, quiet place in a beautiful surrounding no too far from Riga.

We would highly recommend this place for having one of the best days of your life - your wedding. The staff, level of service, accommodation, food and the venue itself were excellent. If you want a cosy, charming location away from the city life, this is the place to choose.

We had never before seen such a great level of service! The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had all we needed. They delivered food to our room from our silver service dinner when we had to put kids to sleep and fixed our sons push car when it broke (twice!) :) Food was amazing every time,...

Nature is still rather dull in this region end of March therefore the park around the manor and the main entrance with magnificent fountain can just be imagined during the summer time. Regardless of my personal preferences excellently renovated manor! Large public rooms on second floor for parties decorated with authentic historical furniture and paintings. Guest rooms on the second...

Our experience at Malpils Manor was strange from the beginning. We arrived between 5:30 and 6:00pm. There was no one at the reception desk - in fact no one in sight anywhere. After ringing the service bell 2 or 3 times, the chef came out of the restaurant kitchen. She could not understand English, so went to find a waiter...

We had a special romantic package, so it was really nice - candles all over, champagne in room. The bed and quality of sleep was superior :) Restaurant was peaceful, calm, relaxing and filling! I suspect than in better wheather conditions it is even better!

We visited Malpils muiza (manir) on 15th of February for brunch and it was excellent choice! Only thing was missing, recognition since we made ph reservation, but waitress did not know about it. Rest just outstanding: wonderful live accordion music, rich & elaborate buffet & fantastic dessert tables, space to walk between meals with kids on hallways of manor in...

“Even though it is advertised as a "special" room, avoid the "landlady's room" unless you like black walls and a dreary atmosphere. An even better tip: get a room at a different hotel.”

“All rooms are lovely, with unique design - also convenient for bigger families since they can be connected in one.”
