We had an overnight stay at the fabulous Livingstone Lodge and opted for a en-suite tent (Monkey) a very short distance to the restaurant. The day started at 4pm with a glass of Champers and then onto a very informative safari, we'd been on safaris here before but this was much more personal and detailed. The tent is brilliant, incredible...

My wife and I have just returned from a fabulous overnight stay at Livingstone Lodge. We cannot praise highly enough the fantastic team of Sue (our host) and Jack (our safari ranger). Jack was extremely friendly and helpful, with an excellent knowledge and understanding of all the animals. As the weather was inclement on arrival and some of the animals...

We arrived early afternoon at Port Lympne & took the opportunity to walk around the areas that are available for walking tracks. It had been 20 years since our last visit (when the reserve was visited all on foot & there was no accommodation) & the whole experience was luxurious & exceeded our expectations. We started our stay seated in...

We stayed in Livingstone Cottage with friends, and it was complete and utter decadence with our own private chef for dinner and Breakfast. Our ranger Sally, was incredibly friendly, knowledgable and genuinely fantastic. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to wake up in the morning and see the African Savannah outside your bedroom window, all in the Kent...

Dear BabyOwl6, Thank you very much for taking the time to review our cottage. We are so pleased that you had such a fabulous experience and hope that you will return and perhaps stay at Livingstone Lodge next time. The experience is exactly as described and previously reviewed. We spent day one at Howletts before driving over to Port Lympne to check in at 4pm and were grateful we did it in that order as I feel had we spent the first day at Port Lympne it may have taken away the element of surprise from the safari. The...

Dear UKFairComment, Thank you for taking the time to write a review for Livingstone Lodge. We are very pleased that you had such a wonderful experience while staying with us. Had a throughly enjoyable experience throughout. One of the animals I wanted to see was the silverbacks, which are amazing, and if you do want to see these then I would recommend getting there early and watching the 12pm or 3pm feed as we did not see them on the safari trips. We saw them on the 3pm feed and...

The accommodation was excellent and the itinerary of activities really well thought through. All the staff involved, and in particular, Jack and Holly, were very helpful and friendly, ensuring we got the most out of our time there. We will never forget seeing the baby giraffe venturing outside for the first time. Highly recommended.
