Stayed at Velo Pyrenees (what this place is really called) for 1 week with friends, road cycling for 6 days in a row, typically doing ~100km and ~2000+ metres of ascent every day. Reading the reviews, people seemed to either love or hate this place. I have to say, my experience is that they're all correct! Choose to stay here...

My Fiance' and I stayed here for 1 week and we both regret not staying longer. We are both avid cyclists and cycling in the Pyrenees has always been a dream of ours. Both Julie and Lee are amazing people. They are genuine, caring and really take customer satisfaction to a very high level. They are phenomenal cooks as well...

I joined a yoga retreat hosted by my local yoga instructor in San Francisco Bay Area. I didn't really do any research of the place and I didn't really know where I was going. All I planned is to manage to get to the local train station, and I just let them to take care the rest. It turned out...

My wife & I stayed for 6 nights in early July 2015: with road cycling being the motivation for the visit. What we discovered was a delightful rural property that had been tastefully & impressively renovated, while retaining the charm of yesteryear. Plenty of room to move, store equipment, find a quiet spot if that's what you want, or enough...

I was there on the same trip as Peter W. The positive points I agree with completely, and the weird thing with the knife, well who knows. And yes there was a definite atmosphere between members of our group and Lee the owner, but this was a two way situation, which was not helped at all by members of our...

The accommodation was spotlessly clean and the food was great although I would have liked access to tea making facilities in my room. The proprietors have their own very specific house rules which we respected. The proprietors have good local knowledge and they would dismiss our daily plans and routes which we had planned. On a planned rest day Lee...

We stayed here for 5 nights from 22nd June until 27th June. I was a bit worried about staying at a B&B/guest house, but, it was fantastic. Large enough so you didn't feel you were imposing on the hosts but they were always available when needed. Both Lee and Julie's knowledge of the area for cycling and running along with...

My wife and I spent 5 days and nights at Velo Pyrenees, we loved the mountain biking but were glad to leave. Hosts Lee and Julie cannot be faulted on the cleanliness of the house and rooms, their cooking is very good and imaginative and their local knowledge of the mountain biking and road routes throughout the region is very...

Marking our friend's 50th in style 6 of us stayed with Velo Pyrenees for a week in Sept. Lee and Julie are great hosts. A little eccentric at times, but they were flexible when we made it back late for dinner after getting lost on our first night, and accommodating to almost every request we made of them as we...

Spent a week were cycling around covering the roads. I went for dinners included which were outstanding. Lee & Julie put a lot of effort into the meals and it shows. The quality of accomodation is top class. Very clean and spacious rooms, lovely restoration work, set of bike tools in the garage, etc. The location is really good for...
