The hotel is located about 20' walk from Ubud centre, down a pedestrian alley. So, it is quieter than other hotels but some people might not like or be capable of walking. Lots of options for breakfast and the 2 pools are nice. The staff was helpful. Our room was light, of a good size. Our bed had a mosquito net which is appreciated. Pleasant stay with lots of nice restaurants around.

Bali dream resort was amazing. My family and I ( 3 adults 4 kids) stayed for 5 days and we absolutely loved it. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and the staff here are also amazing too just really lovely. Will definitely be returning for this years trip.

We stayed here for 4 nights and for the price we paid it seemed very reasonable. The hotel itself is in a nice setting with lovely gardens and 2 pools. We found that the location however wasn't ideal, be prepared for the 30 minute walk to town or be ripped off by drivers nearby. The room itself was nice although not sound proof at all and we could everything from the people next door. We also had so many huge ants in our room and toilet! Breakfast was nice although took up to 45 mins to arrive. Staff were very pleasant and always greeted guests, only 1 or 2 staff spoke reasonable English though which made things a bit difficult! The hotel itself is quite hard to find, no cars can get near, if you can get hold of the hotel they will pick you up in a buggy, however they did not offer us this service when we left so had to walk up with our heavy bags and find a taxi!

Pros: Beautiful landscapes, quiet, GREAT sushi place around the corner from hotel.

Cons: Smelly pool towels, not enough for our family so were given bath towels
Only 6 sun beds for n total for 2 large pools
Food was okay

1st villa -
Mouldy drinking water taps
Power points hanging out
No plugs for bath tub
No gate to the villa property, yet all other villas have gates
No bathroom bench or surface to pit any toiletries
Fridge wobbly, my husband had to put a box under it so it was stable
Towels are old and smell
Balustrade on stairs is VERY loose
Doors do not lock properly
Mould in the fridge
No dining table
1 x 2 seater chair expected for a family to use
Kitchen cupboards falling apart
Drawers do not close properly

Move rooms due to these issues....
A down grade, as said by manager himself but no mention of reimbursement for price difference.

Pros: ......

Cons:
Shower handle doesn’t sit on the holder unless you want it to spray straight on the floor so you must hold it to shower
Drainage for shower/bath combo does not work properly so all water comes back up the drain and floods the bathroom
Bugs in one of my kids beds
Sticky tape holding part of bathroom room together
Toilet not even attached to the floor, floor bathroom when flushed.
Squashed bug(?) in our bed with huge blood stains and eggs.
Dark and smelly

This hotel is an absolute joke. It needs to be shut down and completely renovated. Or bulldozed.

Our clothes still have a bad smell from the room. Big problem with the humidity and the mold.
The garden and pool area are nice.
The food is not so great, we have found a small bug in our breakfast - not nice!!
Also, if you want an exotic experience, you will have lizards in your room. We stayed 4 nights and had at least one on the wall each night...
There are some small shops nearby and also bike rentals. The hotel has laundry service and it is not expensive. The staff was nice.
It is ok for a short stay if you do not have big expectations and do not care about cleanliness and lizards.

We stayed in this hotel at the end of October 2015 and during our stay I had a serious accident in the pool area that was due to poor security measure from the hotel. In the pool area there is this hole on the ground in the sunbeds area which is poorly secured (actually not secured at all, just covered by a smaller-than-required metal square). So when I moved the sunbed to the shade and accidentally step on it I found myself falling in the hole with all the tubes and machines used for the pool maintenance which caused several heavy bruises all over my body, cuts on my legs and arms (one of which required internal and external stitches)
Must admit that the hotel staff was very helpful and of course they immediately attended and paid for all my needs, medical reviews etc.
However I repeatedly asked them (in person and through emails) to review the area and amend the security risks and to send me pictures of what has been done to eliminate the risk and avoid this from happening again. I have received no reply which only leads me to believe that they have not taken my incident and request seriously.

It is a shame because the hotel is a small paradise and really nice and the staff is really nice, attentive and kind. However security comes on top of everything and if it is not a priority for them then this is not a hotel I want to stay in!

Out of the three places we stayed at during our time in Bali, this was by far the best. The staff were extremely friendly and the rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. There are two pools and the garden / entire outside area is kept clean and neat. The hotel rented us scooters for just 50 000 rupiah a day and they had a laundry service if needed. The beds were comfortable but we only had one sheet (and no extra blankets) which I suggest you request in case it gets a bit cold. There was also a problem with the wifi most of the time we were there but with so much to do in Ubud, wifi is not a necessity. The food and restaurant were good although one evening we waited almost an hour for our dinner. I loved the location, although it was a bit hard to find at first, by the fourth day we did not want to leave. I'd highl reccommend this place, and I cant wait to go back!

The hotel is located away from the city noise in a beautiful setup from rooms, swimming pools and other facilities. There are plenty of options to eat around by walking distance and pretty good options.

The breakfast preparation time can be improved. It is not accessible by car but if you call them and tell them you arrived for check in they can send you a golf cart to pick you up.

Friendly staff and always smiling.

This hotel is a true oasis of tranquility! The grounds and pools are so beautiful. The rooms are charming and the staff really cannot do enough! I had a lovely spa afternoon with a great massage. It felt so luxurious for the great price we paid. On the downside, the walk to Ubud town was a bit long and the roads have no footpaths near the hotel. Breakfast was good but slow to arrive. Flower bath in the spa was disappointing and lacking flowers! Overall, the positives by far outweighed the negatives! A wonderful place to stay :)

We stayed here for 4 nights and it was absolutely beautiful.

It is located outside of the centre of Ubud but this means it is extremely peaceful. Expect to pay 50,000 for a taxi into the centre or walking takes about half an hour.

The gardens are gorgeous and are tended to each day. The included breakfast was also brilliant with the best scrambled egg Ive had in Bali.

We stayed in one of the bungalows by the pool and it was peaceful and stunning to sit out at night.

The room was extremely clean. The air con was also very powerful. There were pebbles on the floor of the shower which were questionable but could be moved to stand properly.

The famous Campuan Ridge walk is located nearby.

A real gem of a hotel to stay in if you are visiting Ubud and don't mind not being located centrally (also a number of outstanding restaurants nearby which you may not visit if you were staying so centrally).
