This place was like a home away from home. Everyone was so accommodating and friendly, even Murphy the dog. They went out of their way for every detail. We had a cook out on the outside grills and we made a breakfast in the AM. If you are in this area, please visit here, you will be glad. We had...

Rooms are dated but clean. Dog on grounds big as small pony so no one is going to break in. Close to park entrance. Nice people running place. Great view. Last place to stay before reaching High Point.

Great place if you’re a state ‘high pointer’ and have just driven hours to get close to the highest point in New Jersey. This was what I was looking for and got it. The owner seemed personable enough and this inn was pet friendly (my deduction as I had no pet, but from the way they were nonchalant with their...

I recently spent a night at the high point country inn. It was the worst hotel experience I can remember in the last 30 years. If we did not have a cat and it was not already 5PM when we got there, after seeing (and smelling) the room, we would have looked elsewhere . We were in room 10; it...

Sought refuge at the High Point Inn when a massive rain storm enveloped the region for several day while hiking the Appalachian Trail. Room was clean, in good repair, shower and toilet worked. It was great to have Wi-Fi to communicate with the outside world on my iPhone. Hose was gracious to run me into Sussex for groceries and a...

The HPC Inn is an old, circa 1950's/60's motel unit about 2 miles South of the entrance to High Point State Park. It is set back from the road and is nicely landscaped. First the good things. Our room was #3. There was a lot of room in it for bags and hiking paraphenalia. It was very clean and the...

The room was pretty no frills, but the room was very clean. The owner was friendly and very helpful. A good place to stay for a night or two. It is pretty far from any places of interest, but it is a good location if one wanted to hike at High Point State Park.
