We stayed in the suite which was well worth a little bit extra for the privacy. Both the room and the bathroom are very large. What I really appreciated was the fact that (especially as there is not much else nearby) there was ample tea, coffee and milk in the room for an overnight stay. Shame that they do not...

The Plough is a former pub now solely run as a B&B. It's a lovely old building (thatched, of course) and is in a handy location for Didcot, Abingdon and the large Milton Park commercial estate but far enough away for a nice sense of detachment. The rooms, of which I have stayed in two out of about ten, are...

After seeing the pics we had fallen in love to this B&B and booked us in for 4 nights. No disappointment at all. Our room - the Suite - is a seperate building with an own entrance - a large room with adjoining spacy bathroom, comfortable 4 poster bed and good quality furniture. Owners and stuff are very friendly and...

This b&b used to be a restaurant and pub but now solely offers accommodation. The rooms are comfortable with good quality furniture and, in at least two cases, with four poster beds. Everything else was there but the place lacked atmosphere. the breakfast was very basic but more than adequate. For the area this place offers good value b&b. There...

I have marked this place as average, simply because it is quite basic, however this is to manage expectations. The location itself is not idyllic but the surrounding countryside is, hence the description of a good stopover. I would recommend it simply on the basis that it is convenient and good value for money. Clifton Hampden is a charming spot...

Despite its name the Plough is basically a B and B with no evening food or drinks served. But its a very fine B and B. I had an excellent and large room with full bathroom attached, really comfortable 4 poster bed and the best breakfast of the week. Really helpful staff. Good location in centre of charming village. I...

Stayed here on business for one night. This used to be a pub but is now effectively,a bed and breakfast with a simple bar. The down side is that there is no evening meal, there is a decent place 10 mins walk away. The good point is the room. This was large and well decorated with a very comfortable bed....

I was disappointed to learn that the property isn't actually an Inn, I had hoped for a cosy Country pub and some pub fayre. On arrival I thought the place was shut and once the taxi driver showed me the way in I was booked in. The room was a mini chalet and was reasonably presented. breakfast was in the...

16th century thatched building with outhouses. We stsyed on Room 2 - idiosyncratic and atmospheric room with wonky ceiling, wonkier roofbeams, sloping floor, huge bath room. Right above reception and eating area so can be noisy. Good breakfast.
