Directly next to the entrance of the waterfall you will find the Pondok Senaru Cottages. It's a nice place to stay with a great view over rice fields, the forest and the waterfall itself. The rooms are nice and big with just a ceiling fan and very basic interior – but there's even a tv. This is a plus because... More

People go there to climb Mount Rinjani. It doesn't mean they already want to feel like sleeping in a tent, quite the opposite. Usually you treasure a little comfort when you decide to go wild.... The hotel unluckily doesn't offer much comfort. The rooms are bare and sad, with old-looking furniture and few electric outlets to charge your things before... More

The place is located just by the gate to the waterfall. It has beautiful view around the area, green rice paddy terrace, beautiful Rinjani Mountain, and the waterfall. The garden is quite nice too with many bougainvillea. The food was okay. I love the fish. There is a mushalla for those who wish to pray

Pondok Senaru just on the left side of the gate to the famous Sindanggile waterfall is a perfect cottage location with superb views of paddy-terraces in the east, while Rinjani summit standing massively surounded by thick and greeny rain forest on the south. This cottage truly offers a different atmosphere for holiday makers; being escaped from the hectic life.

This is a basic hotel with a fabulous view of the mountain, the rice paddies, sea and the local waterfall. We stayed here for two nights as part of a Lombok trek. The rooms are very basic, but have decent beds, fans, spacious shower room. However, they lack any luxuries What is good? - the views are spectacular  - lots... More

Everything about this is very basic. Dated room, flimsy beds, mis-fitting door, weak shower, greasy food, but the only reason you stay is for the location pre-trekking up Rinjani. Recommend skipping breakfast.

This hotel served as our base when getting ready for trekking on Mount Rinjani. Everything is very basic, the food as well, so it is not a place you wanna stay in for longer time than necessary. They actually have hot showers here so if your trek finishes late it is also very suitable :-)

Restaurant is good to have light meals both vegetarian & non-vegetarian, location is very good as one can see ocean on one side and mountain on another as restaurant is located on height. This place is famous amongst trekkers.

We spent 4 nights here. The room was large and clean and looked out over the garden and mountain. Fantastic view. Room lacked character and was hard to get the room cool despite the fan and cooler outside temps. Give in your key if you want your room made up. Restaurant service was inconsistent .large tour groups through the day... More

We slept here prior to a rinjani trek. The agency made a reservation for us here. Although the staff is really really friendly and the views are amazing, i did not like this place at all. The rooms are smelly and old. The wifi does not work and there was no warm water. We were upgrated from a standard room... More
