Stayed at The Grasmere court one night over the Christmas period. Our room was small, en suite shower room was tiny with a window ventilation flap that 'flapped' all night, noisy from traffic and people staying in neighbouring rooms. But, the room was clean and bed comfortable, so for one night we didn't ask to move. Disappointed to find that...

Stayed here for first time, staff very friendly, room clean and tidy basic but all needed for a business stay. Shower was pretty poor but was told they are being updated. Food very good massive portion and very good quality, breakfast also very good. I will be staying again!

Great last minute find. Amy and Simon were great hosts and the facilities were good for a smaller family hotel. Ideally located for both Bath and Bristol. Good food and well stocked bar. Will be visiting again next year.

A nice hotel with good size rooms. Some doubles are bigger than others though but all are clean and tidy although a little dated. I had booked 4 rooms and one of the doubles was small so I asked if another room was available and we were moved to a bigger room. Same cost. The plan of the rooms is...

We decided to do to bath spa uni open day and this was one of the only hotels which had a room. We booked it about the week before and when we arrived it was just what we needed. The guy on reception - Simon, had so much to do and was trying his upmost. The room was just what...

Stayed here for a couple of days to attend a funeral, the stay was ok and the food adequate, but months later we were being harassed to settle the bill which had been paid on leaving, we proved that we had paid as we had the card debit receipt, this was agreed, then a few weeks later we were asked...

I stay at this hotel very frequently and have found the staff friendly and attentive. Food is limited in choice but what is served is cooked and presented to a high standard. I really enjoy coming here and will continue to do so. Overall a great experience.

This is certainly not a 4 star hotel. I was given a room in reception (literally) opposite the bar. It was very clean but very dated and the TV only had 1 chanel. I was the only person in the resteraunt for dinner. Steak and triple cooked chips (£20) took 50 mins to come. Steak so tough I couldn't cut...

My partner & I decided to stay here for one night rather than a large chain as we thought it would be more friendly and intimate but how wrong could we have been! On arrival we found the hotel front door locked with a telephone number to ring for a code to obtain the key to the front door. Once...

I stayed as I was working at our head office for a week. I had to bring my 13 yr old along with me. First impressions.... The room was absolutely tiny, the decor was extremely dated. The room was suffocating it was that hot, but we could not keep the windows open over night due to the noise from the...
