Made a reservation through booking but due to ulterior motives had to cancel one month prior to my arrival, never received an answer to my request! Also I find it extremely expensive, there are far better lodges around that area and cheaper.

We spent two nights in Agama River Camp Lodge and the more we stayed the more we liked it. Not because of the cottage itself but for everything around it. At first glance the price is high for what you get, the cottage is very basic, the pool area close to the chalets not equipped with armchairs or even chairs....

We really enjoyed our 2 nights here, warm welcome, great cottages and lovely food from the very attentive chef. Much better value than places near the Dunes park gate (Sossusvleit), worth the early start (and don't forget the packed breakfast).

Camped at this site for two nights last month, and it was amazing! The bathroom facilities were large and comfortable, each campsite has a reasonable amount of privacy, the pool is large and clean, the sites each have a great sink for dishwashing, firepit, and nice views of the sunset. There are also two friendly pet dogs and firewood for...

We stayed at Agama River Camp Lodge not really expecting a lot but have to say we really enjoyed it. The location is very good but the staff and especially the food was truly amazing!! All the food had been grown locally and a great deal of time and effort had gone into preparing it all. We would most definitely...

We spent two nights at Agama. Each room is its own individual chalet with private roof deck to watch to sunset or look at the mountains. The location is beautiful and the facilities of high standard. There is a swimming pool that also had a nice view and a small waterhole where you can see antelopes and warthogs. The meals...

Lodge located in a tranquil and serene space with animals around and a great sunset. Staff was forthcoming, well-organized and professional. Rooms were clean and private. Food was good. Stargazing on the rooftop highly recommended.

A fantastic looking lodge, great staff and very friendly manager couple. Location is good, max 1h drive from Sossusvlei gate. The campsites are well laid out, lots of privacy, each with own BBQ and sink (and a lamp hanging in the tree, which you can just connect to your 2nd car battery). The toilet/showers very clean and creative. They have...

Room are clean and spacious. My room look over the valley and mountains. Roof terrace a great place to watch the sun go down. Food provided my the lodge is very good. One night for dinner we had kudu steak, if I am not wrong. Great place to re-charge, very quiet and isolated. Love playing with the owners three dogs.
