Well what a place, reclaimed from falling into the ground by Alison et al. An unparralled welcome in a truly lovely spot in this beautiful area of sw france. All the rooms and suites are totally different and restored and furnished to be right! It would be difficult to find a better place to spend a few days with that...

My wife and I stayed here for two nights for a wedding and it was unbelievable. We stayed in the gothic suite and I could have stayed there forever. The breakfast was perfect. Very continental and the views were stunning. The reason I didn't give it five stars was because there was no key to lock our door when we...

I stayed in the Chateau with a small tour group in September 2013 for two nights and the experience was so perfect I wanted to share it with my husband and friends. Two were travelling in France and chose to spend two nights here to explore the surrounding area. After a day spent travelling we arrived in the early evening...

The owners of Brametourte have restored the chateau with style and empathy. If you are looking for a royal chateau like the Palace of Versailles this is not for you. As another reviewer said its " is a real chateau with all its nooks and crannies, a real pearl right in the middle of rural France." We could not agree...

Last summer was the 4th time I stayed at Brametourte. As Paul and Allison recently added a swimming pool to the gardens around the chateau, we decided to stay for two weeks this time. The pool with the splendid view over the valley was an excellent addition and made our stay even more memorable. Why do we come back to...

I lucked onto Chateau Brametourte while staying at nearby Castres and managed to book my last 2 nights in France at the chateau. While at the chateau, I stayed in the Cathars Chambres, a lovely, beautifully restored and furnished room with direct access to the pool area. Very peaceful room. I found the hosts to be very personable with an...

There's no doubt that the owners have done an amazing job renovating Brametourte into today's standards of modern comforts with a certain degree of luxury. We stayed in the Gothic Suite, which was quite large if you take into account the adjacent sitting-room. The furnishings and antiques are lovely; the sofas and bed comfy. The bathroom was our favorite -...

Thank you for writing this review and high-lighting a number of issues. I am sorry that I was away during your stay, and unable to address these concerns effectively. We will take action to ensure that these type of issues cannot occur in the future. On the issue of meals - we would reflect that we are a B&B or...

This is a new venture and has all the enthusiasm and helpful touches that you'd expect from owners who care about clients and about success. Runs more like welcoming home - so if you want full peace and quiet and everything to run just like a 5* hotel or don't want to have hens ambling around the terrace, this place...

We chose Chateau de Brametourte for our wedding without seeing the venue, as we live 12,000 miles away, and we weren’t disappointed! Having planned our wedding ceremony and reception via phone, internet and skype with Alison and Liz over 18 months, we were really looking forward to seeing the chateau in person! The chateau is a few minutes drive from...
