Went to Balintore Inn for dinner on 21 Mar 2017. Cozy atmosphere with wood burning fires. Nice selection of craft beers on tap. Had the chicken with brie and sundried tomatoes...exquisite! Wonderful setting right on the shore. Can't wait to return.

We stayed for two nights in March and received a warm welcome from the owners. Live music on friday night and a pleasant late afternoon watching international rugby with locals in the bar on Saturday. Varied menu and substantial breakfast. Looking forward to a less rushed return visit.

Stopped for a midweek bit to eat. Lovely bar with 2 cosy woodburners balding away. Menu was short but we both choose chicken and it was excellent. Large helpings left no room for pudding. Nice selection of beers which made me happy .

This was a first visit and we were not disappointed.lunch was ordered and arrived quickly.we ordered Hungarian ghoulash and chicken and we're not disappointed, large portions and lots of fresh vegetables. The waitress was pleasant and with such a wonderful view, what more could one ask for. We hope to visit again sometime.

Snack lunch. The best soup ever in beautiful surroundings. Worth a visit just to see the glorious wooden chairs. Will go back again and again. Clean. The toilets sparkled and the very pleasant staff sparkled too.

The Balintore Inn has taken on a new lease of life since its current owners arrived in summer 2015. Looking east across a quiet road to the north sea, with tables in the garden where you can enjoy the sea breezes while eating, it offers a tasty choice of home cooked food, with large helpings at modest prices. The two course...
