I stayed here during the World Cup for a week. The staff were incredibly friendly and the facilities were perfect. The room was very comfortable and I would highly recommend this place to anyone traveling nearby. There is also a nightclub, pool and excellent restaurant conveniently attached. I really loved my stay here. A special thank you to Olga for making my stay hassle free.
Rooms are nice but NO AIR CONDITIONER unless you book a room with it. Summers are very hot! Almost nobody spoke English but were very nice, especially Olga at reception, she was actually super-nice! WiFi signal is very weak. Breakfast is eatable if you like macaroni and rice at 8am. Has amenities like a gym, swimming pool, tennis courts etc. but you'll have to pay extra to have access to them (?!). Overall a good experience.
The rooms were ok, though receptionist lacked the service skill (is the neighboring bar Zebra still open? - I do not know, you may try calling them). Very poor breakfast they served - being a vegetarian I need either porridge or pancakes
I'm working in the area for a large international company, I normally stay in a holiday inn whenever possible but with no choice of western brands of hotels I was advised to stay here. It's an old holiday camp by the looks of it, (rodeo shows, tennis court basketball court, swimming pool and massage parlour and snowmobile hire) there are several different hotel buildings all decorated in differing styles New York style (they've never been to New York I'm guessing) and I stayed in the log cabin, All the staff are friendly and try to help, I struggled through by pointing, gesturing and google translating as the language barrier is a massive problem, only a few of the hotel staff speak English. The restaurant is in the central building that houses the sheriff steak house and the zebra night club, but the foods not great (I couldn't tell the diffrence between the deep fried onion rings and the deep fried squid rings) the steak is as tough as the men scraping ice off the pathways and be prepared to wait a while, but it gives you a chance to try an chat to the waitresses in short shorts and cowgirl chaps (if your into that kind of thing), no kettle in the room and a pretty sparse mini bar, but... I'm 2000 miles from home and I'm glad of a warm room and a decent bed. Oh and check out the "Area Of Freedom"…
