My partner and I found this hotel through last minute, and to be honest booked it because it was the cheapest hotel in Cornwall - at £40 a night with breakfast included we were happy. I agree with other comments about the bed being squeaky, and another thing we also left towels out to be given new ones but some...

Stayed overnight in a double ensuite room. The room was a pleasent surprise but the bathroom was not good with a 'drainy' smell. room was over the bar and quite noisey. It's a pub and the price reflects this, Didn't eat as we felt as though we were intruding on a locals only event

Wonderful, friendly inn, spotlessly clean, bed comfortable, free wi fi and full English breakfast freshly cooked and cheerfully served. Shared bathroom but no problems encountered, didn't have to wait to use at any time. Will certainly recommend. Thank you.

We stayed in a double room with shared bathroom (as the en-suites were already taken) which we found clean and with a very comfortable bed. Also had a meal...

Had read up on the Kings Head and as we were staying locally we were looking forward to eating there. Visited on a Sunday evening around about 7.30pm. As we entered we noticed nobody was eating, when I checked at the bar the gentleman who was quite curt just said the didn't serve on Sunday evenings. Asked could he point...
