It was basic and was OK. Cost for two night was $69.99 plus a loonie ($1ca) for a shower. Showers were reasonable with a curtain for the door. Laundry was $2.50 and drying a bit more. Alot of permanent residence seem to live there. The complete site was very large and close to the main road into Calgary. It is...

First the good. Great location, Across the highway from Crossiron mills mall. Not far out of Calgary and a nice cross country drive to Kananaskis country, Canmore and Banff. Now the bad, The place looks like nobody cares. There are stored rv's all around some quite junky. There is not one garbage bin, campers have to take their garbage to...

The Balzac campground wasn't our first pick but it did the job for what we wanted to do that week-end; we had a birthday party that night and had to have the trailer somewhere to pend the night. Facilities are clean and the staff is friendly. The campground and camp sites are not that impressive really and truly but very...

We booked balzac (whispering pines) Campground for the easy access to jaycee slowpitch park. The Campground met all of our basic needs. Power, water, sewage. Just beware of the many many gopher holes all throughout the sites. Don't walk in the dark! We actually filled a few in and by the morning they were dug out again. Lol. The new...

Unfortunately when we came there was a couple days of awful rain, the campground turned into a mud hole - not exactly their fault. The bathrooms/showers were quite gross .. It's in a decent location, But I likely wouldn't stay here again for those reasons. I apparently didn't read the reviews before booking.

I booked this place because it was just down the road from Bucars RV, where I was having some work done the following day. What a disgusting, scary place this is. This place is home to mostly seasonals including derelict RV's, with a few unsuspecting overnighters like ourselves. The site was so short that the truck had to be disconnected...

We just needed a place near Calgary. There is nothing great nearby for activities (unless you count the mall), but at least there is some room for kids to play. Bare necessities, but you have to pay for the shower.

If I could have given a negative number of dots I would have! If I could have given it a big fat zero I would have! Since a 1 is the lowest I could give (but still more than this place deserves) that's what I gave it. To start with, there's the fact that the place is supposed to be...

We had gofer holes all over our campground. We kept tripping into the holes. There were gofers everywhere. The ground was uneven and difficult to walk. My son leaned back in his chair and fell backwards because of the uneven ground. There's tons of potholes and tons of puddles when it rains. The sewer line is very low to the...

Read lots of bad reviews on this place but we decided to check it out for our selves. The owners are new and doing the best they can at this busy time but we have decided to stay here two weeks and maybe longer because they gave us a great campsite, they are very accommodating, the washrooms and showers are...
