Stayed at this guest house for four days. Was a lovely room and bathroom. Think I booked to quick as didn't realise the owner was on site as well. It was cheap and thought not to have full internet was bad, when we go away after the day of going out we line to chill and catch up with things...

My husband I decided this would be a better option than staying in Wellington, so much better than staying in the city. Robyn's generosity, culinary skills and genuine love of people, made for a perfect stay. Nestled in the sandhills, this quiet oasis boasts an understated WoW! Ant further trips to the Capital will be from Atihuri.

The Atahuri lodge is like a hidden nest in the dunes. Modern architecture meets nature. Even the details are extraordinary. We had our own private suite, looking into the dunes, nobody could disturb us. Our host Robyn spoiled us by feeding us delicacies. She gives us lots of advices for nice places to see. We felt very comfortable.

The easiest way to review Atahuri would be to say ditto to all that's been said below. What stands out is Robyn's great taste. The rooms are superbly designed and the fittings amazing. As has been said often the bathroom sinks are mind-blowing, as is the stunning wall light. In fact December is a bad month to be there in...

What a great way to see in the New Year. Your host Robyn will tell you that she states it is a privilege for her to live there. It is in fact an absolute privilege to be a guest. A stunning facility in every respect with a very generous host who can cook you up a very classy brekkie in...

From the moment we arrived at Atahuri, everything was perfection. In amongst the golden dunes, nestled the most wonderful luxury lodge - private, spacious, peaceful. The bedrooms with their outlook are an absolute oasis. Super comfy beds, airy louvres, a tub big enough for two, in a room decorated with exquisite taste and love of natural objects. Robyn, our host,...

This is a beautiful place. A luxurious getaway and only a stones throw away from the beach. The view from around this location is amazing. But Robyn the owner is so nice and makes the most delicious food. Her hospitality is above and beyond a regular lodge and does her best to make your stay comfortable and special.

Our stay for a couple of nights was perfect. Greeted at the door by the wonderful Robyn and moments later enjoying her great hospitality and food, mussels and whitebait fritters caught locally by herself. The accommodation is luxurious and her attention to detail is second to none. The view from our room and the walk from here to the beach...
