Detailed Reviews
Nice place, easy walk to the beach. The rooms are clean, beautiful gardens that are well maintained, the pool was also very clean and maintained.
It was very quiet, I assume because we were the only ones there (stay was during the Covid-19 travel ban).
Breakfast was good, choices were limited, but this was understandable considering when we were there.
Maybe during this quiet time the rooms could be update. In our room the bathroom door didnt close and maybe curtians would give guest more privacy that the blind that they currently have. Although there was tea and coffee making facilities in the room there was no fridge.

I've been travelling around Indonesia for a month and this was by far the nicest place I stayed. Beautifully built wooden bungalows in a lovely garden of old trees, shrubs and lawn with a large swimming pool at its centre.
The only faults being that the bathroom smelt of urine on arrival and didn't look very clean. I mentioned this at reception but it didn't seem any different the following day. I ended up cleaning it myself.
The only other issue which rather spoilt it for me was Ramadan. No fault goes to the hotel but the mosque is next door and their loudspeakers are very loud! There was "call to prayer" in the evening 7pm until 11pm, then again at 2.30am to 3.30am and again at 5am. It was impossible to sleep during those times, and it occured every night of the five days that I stayed here. I advise quality noise cancelling earplugs.

Great room, very friendly staff and the most beautiful garden with swimming pool and places to relax. Breakfast is included and is also great. Walking distance to the centre, they do scooter rental which is fun for exploring the surroundings.
Restaurant attached also really good.

Everything outside the bungalows is quite lovely: the gardens, the reception area and the pool area. The staff is friendly, if not always able to help (no laundry service, for instance). The bungalows are small, and are not equipped with cupboards or coat hangers. The bathroom has seen better days, and there's no soap on the washbasin. The location is very close to Kuta beach.

This is a small paradise in Kuta Lombok. For me it was the most beautiful and nicest place what we visited in the last three weeks during our trip through Indonesia. If I go back once again, I am sure I go back to Puri Rinjani. Very nice people, good service, clean in a relaxed and calm atmosphere.

It’s sometimes hard to remember that it’s a 3 star as many things are beyond this. Pool, gardens and tranquility help you recharge with ease. Rooms are as described - basic, clean and cool. The shower was the only pick up with the temperature hard to control and low water pressure but that was not enough to spoil the break

This is a 3 star hotel but could probably be 4 stars. Sure, bathrooms have seen better days but it is still good. Location is almost best in Kuta. Staff is super. Breakfast very tasty. Pool and garden are beautiful.

Our stay with this hotel was overall pleasant enough, rooms were of a decent standard although not cleaned during our stay. The food in the restaurant was also good but the service was not great.
Our real problem came when we left the hotel. The 'manager' had offered to arrange transport for us to our next destination for 350,000 through his brother which we declined as we felt it was too steep. We said that we would prefer to call a taxi an use a metered rate but he said there were no taxis in Kuta. The next morning we called Nlue Bird taxi and they arrived at our hotel, however a motorbike followed the taxi in. A row of sorts broke out between the taxi driver and the guy on the motorbike. Security of the hotel was present but did not get involved, and the manager and other staff merely looked on.
To cut a long story short there is a mafia of kind that operates in Kuta and they will not let tourists leave using a Blue Bird taxi - you have to use local transport. We had been told by head office at Blue Bird that the fare would likely to be 200,000 when booking the cab to our destination. We were told that the mafia/organisation would stop the taxi if we tried to take it and although we would not be hurt, the driver would. Needless to say he left without us and was visibly shaken. After the incident the manager approached us again to say he had already told us that taxis were not allowed and we hadn't believed him. He had said no such thing - only that there were no taxis in Kuta. He offered his brother to take us again, which we very angrily declined.
This seems to be a problem with all hotels in Kuta and something really needs to be done about it urgently. We were informed we could call the police and they would tell us the same thing!!!

If you're looking for cheaper accommodation and a good location you really can't go past the Puri Rinjani situated 20 minutes from the new airport. The villas are basically a large bedroom with an ensuite bathroom in the guise of a simple thatched building. They have a large tv (if that's your requirement) but in Internet. Out the front is a small deck with a rocking chair (yes, really!), another chair and small table that's great for relaxing and reading. All the villas are near a large and very deep swimming pool (well maintained) and the whole complex is set behind a wall so mostly what you hear are the birds in the trees scattered within the property. We didn't eat or drink here so cannot comment but we did hire a moped from them to get around. Nothing flash but it did the job and the rates were much the same as elsewhere. The property faces the beach but there are shops (read 'shacks') lining the other side of the road that you have to walk between to get to. Eating out we liked Lombok Discovery Coffee House for fab breakfasts (only place where they have real bread!) and lunch. Its owned by an Aussie guy and frequented by divers and surfers who are happy to tell you the best places to go. Also has free wi-fi. And for dinner we couldn't go past Bule (turn right out of Puri Rinjani and stay on beachfront road- you'll see the sign) They have the biggest prawns (size of your hand-I kid you not!) plus some great traditional Indo dishes. The shops opposite the villas are very basic and obviously geared to tourists, but in amongst are some great little makeshift bars...just be prepared to be pestered. Unfortunately employment is scarce so tourists are their only income. Learning "no thankyou" (tidak, terimah kasih- pronounced teedak terreema cassy) is very useful! Remember, this is still a very primitive area in terms of tourism but whilst it may lack classy accommodation (if that's for you) and upmarket nightlife, it definitely makes up for in amazing scenery and very curious locals who live very, very simply. A camera is a must! Oh, and now they have an ATM on that street, and there is a new medical centre too. We'd go back in a heartbeat.

Excellent value for money, a perfect place to stay. Nice rooms, clean, beautiful garden, nice swimming pool, nice staff, elegant decoration. Right in front of the beach and at walking distance to the village and to many nice restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.
