I actually stayed here April 2018 (Trip advisor didn't have that option)
Great location and lovely, maintained grounds and pool. Very comfortable sun loungers.
I was told I had the last available room - it was very small and tatty. The door and windows didn't lock properly, the sheets were stained and as were the walls. The electrics were hanging out and the sink was hanging off the wall. The shower floor was covered in lose pebbles so it hurt to stand on and there was no hot water or WiFi. The bar was never open and you were lucky to find 1 member of staff. Once I did, I complained and asked to move rooms but the only rooms available were the cabins at around 4 times the price so I just checked out early and had my money refunded.
You could probably find somewhere nicer for the same price

- wifi is not working
- refusal to serve breakfast (only 5 minutes late)
- noisy and unclean
We firstly stayed in their cheapest bungalow. You can hear everything outside (bar's music and people passing by). Moreover ants were in the bed, and rocks as a floor in the shower (very painful and probably very dirty, very bad choice).
Then we upgrade to their more expensive bungalows, after we've been told homestay was full. On the app, it wasn't. Bed had a red mark on it and wifi was still not working. Noises was still there though!
If you're looking for something peaceful, this place is to avoid. So sorry for this bad review though, but management didn't want to hear about any if these complaints that we directly discussed with them, before writing it here.

Responded 7 Apr 2018
Dear Valuable Guest, Thank you for taking time to write us a review, I am sorry for the breakfast refusal because you were coming late than the breakfast time. Regarding about the ants in the room, this is the first time that we hear our guest complaint about ants that we never had before, and for the rocks in the bathroom floor it's already showed in the picture so please check before you book a room, and we always cleaned the rocks to keep it clean, We told you that the standard room is fully booked because it was full, if you see it in the Apps still available we are so sorry that maybe there's an error on it because in our system it's fully booked, we are not a liar, and we always try to help our customers as we could. You never tried to discuss about this complaint as well, if you tell us about this complaint when you stayed with us we will look for a solution together like what we did if there's a complaint, and everything is solved well. Best Regards, Ahmad Afandi

Worst budget room in Indonesia. If you think the price is too good to be true, that’s because it is. Only bonus here, is the lovely pool.
Constant scratching and thumping from an animal coming from inside the roof, kept us up all night.
Bathroom was covered in pebbles (design feature I guess), but it was so painful to walk on. We had to use the bathroom with flip flops on.
We were giving a single sheet for a double bed, so we asked for a extra sheet. This was provided with massive holes in it, where something has chewed through.
Water pressure was so temperamental, only enough water for one person to shower it had run completely dry when I needed one.
Holes in the wall, ceiling and door. Mouldy and flaky walls.

Staying here for one night before leaving Lombok.
The bungalow room is nice, comfy bed, with kettle avail.
The pool is nice but day bed matrasses need to be replaced.
Lacking in small details such as, tv is not working, water pressure in the shower is not strong, no soap, no one attending at the reception, staff talking with cigarette on his mouth....

BE READY to be woken daily at 5:15am by the local mufti call to prayer that should sound melodic but sounds like a murder via a megaphone daily.
DO NOT EXPECT privacy or relaxation. Staff are in your face all day every day. It takes 3 days to whipper snip a backyard, if that's not enough for you the staff are constantly in your face - hose, sweep, mop, rake, repeat.
Complete IDIOTS with animals that are starving and looking for recluse. A clearly starving dog that came to our deck was asked if it was our pet from Australia and that pets aren't allowed and subsequently was scared off the property.
INHUMANE - would never stay here again.

I stayed in the Aldis homestay. The room is quite small, we did not have HOT WATER in the shower. They told us the bungalows do 😳 but not the homestay. They provided us broken towels, the toilet is plenty of “nice” stones and the bath water was doing a horrible noise every time. You can get for the same price better hotels in Kuta. Btw, nice swimming pool.

We stayed there for about a week for 450k IDR/ night in high season, August 2017. No matter what they say, that is the maximum one should pay for their tiny bungalows. If they ask more: there are plenty other places with more helpful staff and nicer rooms/pools in that area. Unfortunately the pools design wasn’t thought trough: in the slim part dirt, dead bugs and leaves accumulate looking nasty. Also in the evening we sometimes saw locals bath their children in the pool. Thus that’s not really inviting, particularly when the guests usually shower BEFORE using the pool and the baby next to you just peed in it.

Hi ,
Warm greetings from aldi's Bungalow and Homestay,
Our room is not connected one each other but near each other, the price is not including for the airport shuttle there would be an extra charge for the airport shuttle, also we only have scooters to rent we do not have bicycle.
Many Thanks,
Aldi's Bungalow Managment.
Hi Julia, we didnt get an answer here, we tried fb to! Maybe try shu villa as you can all easily fit in the room together with options of singles and king or queen beds! If you want ot stya closer to the beach etc, there a lots of lovely homestays and bungalows! Kuta MAra was nice with a small pool and comfortable enough with a double and single for 3!
Dear Romain,
can you please let us know when is it for?
Best Regards,
Afandi
