I recently had written a review giving a 5, I have since read some of the other reviews and most seemed to be complaint about the time it took to deliver food! Yeas it took a while but when it arrived it was freshly cooked and enjoyable, we were not in a rush nor were we hurried from our table....

Hotel was adequate, room an OK size but a bit rundown in decor and grubby. Plenty of tea/coffee in room. Shower fine, all in one body wash/shampoo provided. Staff extremely friendly. Road noise quite loud in our room. Continental breakfast included in price, even tea was self service! Selection was limited but did the job. Given the choice, for a...

We popped into the hotel for lunch, though we only wanted coffee and cake for my wife and myself, and a hot meal for our daughter. It was busy but after 40 minutes we still hadn' t been served. The manager told us that they were short staffed but we weren't told this until then,so we weren't given the opportunity...

I have stayed dozens of times over a number of years and it is always my first choice in the area. The rooms are excellent, the location is ideal for Exeter, Topsham and Exmouth. The breakfast is good and the restaurant is very good. It definitely suits me and I will be happy to return whenever in the area. The...

Very nice clean hotel/pub with average bar meals and friendly staff. The only drawback was the croissants on the continental breakfast were pretty ropey but as it was all included with accommodation you cannot really complain

We went here a couple of weeks ago, never been before and had heard mixed reviews so was a little unsure, have to say the food was delicious! My partner can be very fussy but everything was spot on - just how we requested it! The service was also excellent - our waiter was called Ashley, very pleasant and polite...

Popped into the St. George and Dragon for a quick lunch today. We chose the steak and mushroom pie and the duck, the food was excellent, really tasty and reasonably priced. We were served by a friendly young waiter, who was both attentive and courteous. Highly recommended.

We stayed in a room with a double bed and a double sofa bed. The room was clean and comfortable although slightly cold in the morning. We were in a room overlooking the main road so there was some noise but nothing too bad. There was a continental breakfast included in the price of £76 for the four of us,...

If you stay here avoid ground floor disabled access room. Depressing room. Bathroom smelt like drains so much so I just didn't want to use it. Carpet wet outside bathroom. I thought it may be from the wet room but using shower in the morning water does not spill out! I arrived about 7:30pm so not sure what was split...
