Fern paradise is a really nice place to chill out in for a few days while still allowing easy travel into the old city (about 10-20min in a Taxi/Song Thaew). Surrounded by amazing gardens that are always changing, you can walk around the large gardens, chill by the pool or enjoy some privacy in you very unique, clean & comfy...

Just spent 4 fantastic days here and it was complete paradise. Om (the manager) and his family are so friendly and will make your stay truly magical. The architecture and layout (designed by his dad) is awesome! A lot of time, love and care has gone into this place and it was a true pleasure to have stayed here and...

I had been travelling around the north of Thailand with a group of friends and had been staying in a hotel near Tha Phae Gate in Chiang Mai, until our last night, which we decided would be spent at Fern Paradise. Our 1 night stay at Fern Paradise was a lot more expensive than any of our other accommodation, but...

Fern paradise was perfect for the two nights we stayed. Our tree house was cool, comfortable and well furnished. it had everything you needed and we weren't left wanting for anything./ My friend got a particularly nasty insect bite and the owner and his mother found us the best bite relief cream we have ever used! The food and services...

How lucky to find this true gem just minutes from the city of Chiang Mai. Incredible gardens surround the individual and unique "rice barn" residences on this special property. We spend our winters in a small Chiang Mai studio apartment but look for occasional escapes from the city. Fern Paradise exceeded our expectations for an escape. The on premise restauratnt...

Could have been great...but it wasn't. Tree house hotel, what's not to love right? The rustic outdoor tree house with great views and quiet nature loving serenity. Unfortunately it is not the case. You will get cold at night because the walls of the tree houses are glass shutters and can not be completely closed. Looks like most of the...

We have been tardy in submitting a review of our wonderful ten-day stay at Fern Paradise a year ago. We were treated like royalty throughout our stay. The converted rice barn in which we stayed looked out onto a sea of ferns. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts daily by a stream and waterwheel. We were able to order dinner any evening...

This place is an absolute sanctuary! One of the most beautiful and peaceful places I have ever stayed. It is completely surrounded by nature but still provides all of the holiday comforts. The barns are spectacular; all made of wood and solid and cozy as anything! Some of the highlights were the fern tour; breakfast by the stream and waterwheel;...

You feel it immediately when you drive in the driveway .......... you are in paradise. Lush plants come towards you. As well as the always calm Om that greets you. This time we had barn number 1, what a lovely house! The jacuzzi bubbles blows the rest of the stress away, ........... blessed. The fridge is stocked with soft drinks,...

“All the barns are lovely but some are larger than others. The one near the pool is noisier when the hotel is busy, obviously.”

“The murals in Wat Doi Saket main viharn were created by the local artist Chaiwat Waranon. Spend time admiring them. This information is from "Exploring Chiang Mai" by aurthur Oliver Hargreave. A book worth seeking out if you're in CM area. Tweechiol gardens are near "Fern Paradise" and worth 1/2 day exploration. Highly recommend renting bicycles to explore these gradens, a tram may also be available.”
