Once again we stayed here. This time from Wednesday until Sunday. We had cabin 404 and was 6 friends. The cabin has everything you need, it was clean and good. It might me time for some refurbishment of this cabin? Säfsen Resort have done this to other cabins and they are great. We will be back next year

This was our first trip to Sweden and we decided on Safsen. It is described as in the middle of Sweden and that is about right. The stugas are privately owned so they all differ in details. Ours had air conditioning and a sauna. The stuga can hold up to 4 people. Quite a few activities are being organised on...

Come here for the stunning nature. Hire a kanoe (the lake is so beautiful, no words can describe it properly) The stuga's are build on a hill. So you have the feeling that you're alone in this world (and the other cabines are just so nearby) I loved the silence of my hill :). The children rented bikes but the...

I stayed here for two night while attending a Touratech motorcycle training course. The cabin was of high standard with a sauna. The reception was friendly staffed. The restaurant was really good: all meals were great. The resort is nicely located for a lot of different activities. I will definitively come back here with my family.

They rent out cabins, some of them are getting a little old, but most are in very good conditions. And the new big ones are great. I have never been in the restaurant there. I think its to expensive. But they do have take out, to a lot better price.

We booked a cabin in the Säfsen resort on a trip through Sweden. The cabins all have different owners and they are managed by the resort. We got ca bin 319, which was really top quality. The owners have really good taste. It also had a sauna. There are plenty of things to do for kids and parents. There is...

We stayed for three nights at the safsen resort in a cottage with a fireplace and a sauna. We really likes the atmosphere of the house. We had a big terrace looking out on the lake, the house was clean and spacious. We would definitely come again if we are in the neighborhood. For activities we hiked in the vicinity...

The total area is great and lovely. Lots of playgrounds for children, lake nearby to swim (if the weather is fine). Our cabin was ok but needed a little updrade. The bathroom wasn't that clean as for the kitchen. Beds ok, not to great though. The veranda was lovely and the park has some nice trails nearby. In all, pritty...

Went here with my family on a one week stay. The cabins are really nice, the area well kept and the nature stunningly beautiful. Why only three stars then? Well, we made the huge mistake of not bringing our own food. That drove the cost of our stay up dramatically. At the local store, one litre of milk costs SEK...

First time in Säfsen, i travelled there for a conference this weekend (February 1, 2013). What can i say? The place is very beautiful, the hotel has all the comforts one needs, the winter-sport possibilities are endless and the small houses (stugor) one can hire are just so cute and wonderful. Our first impression the moment we unlocked the door...
