What a wonderful time we had staying at the Ramblers Rest. I choose it because I saw that Anne's full name was the same as mine, and as I was on my first trip to Ireland with Irish heritage it seemed apropriate. Even though I was not related we were welcomed like family ( I am sure they welcome everyone...

Comfortable room in nice facility on the highway between Cliffs of Moher and Doolin town, and the food was awesome. Bernie is the epitome of Irish hospitality with a kind and generous soul. Her mother's baking is an added bonus. Don't be thinking this is too far from town - it's only a short cab ride away from the action,...

Great to see The Ramblers Rest still in business. I moved to the area for a temporary job back in May 88. Checked in for a week to find my bearings and did not leave until Christmas when the job ended. This was one of the most enjoyable times of my life and although its been some time since I've...

Myself and the better half travelled here for a one night stay on our trip through the Wild Atlantic Way. Now while the accommodation is basic enough we had everything we wanted but the craic with Ann and Bernie, the sumptuous home baking, the irrespressible full Irish breakfast, the views from the front of the house and the overall ambience...

This is not your "Luxury" B&B, but if you're on a budget and value good service and friendliness, this is the place to go. Bernadette could not have been nicer, the breakfast was excellent, the sitting area, while small, was cozy. The location is midway between Doolin and The Cliffs, which suited us nicely. As for the value, we'd have...

Bernie and her mother made us feel most welcome, the rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. We had a front facing room with stunning views of the Aran Isles. Fresh scones and tea offered daily and the freshly cooked breakfast was served at a time you choose. Bernie has great local knowledge and was able to direct us to the...

When arriving after a tiring day to the B&B at 10pm, the hostel owner just told us that she already gave our room to some random guests who were looking for a place, although we had a confirmation from the place via booking.com! The owner was not acting properly at all!! We could have got in big trouble because of...

Hi there Enci You say I gave away your room without contacting you. Well, when you arrived here after 10pm, I showed you on the computer where I had emailed you. I showed you my phone where I had called you several times on your interntional phone and contacted you through Booking.com as well. So I had tried to contact...

We just finished a 9-day tour of Ireland with three nights at the Rambler's Rest. We were flying blind, but descriptions sounded good and we were not disappointed. Bernie was a most gracious, congenial hostess, the rooms were very comfortable and exactly right for the beautiful location, the views of the sea were magnificent. The was easy access to the...

We couldn't have asked for a more delightful place to stay! Bernie made our experience one to remember for a very long time. Her friendly nature and fantastic cooking plus clean and comfortable room all add up to a great Irish experience.

Ramblers Rest is the most delightful place -- it's a great location, very near Cliffs of Moher; oh so cozy and comfortable, shiny and spotlessly clean; and included an amazing and delicious huge made-to-order breakfast each morning. The star of the show, however, is the lovely Ms. Bernie Flanagan! She made us feel so welcome, like we were visiting with...
