The hostel is in an excellent location. It's only within walking distance from the main amenities in Doolin and public transport stops. It also has a large parking lot if you are driving in the area. The rooms are clean and the hostel has a homey feeling to it (kudos for the warm fireplace after a windy day in the...

I always stay here when I am rock climbing in the Burren. Lovely little hostel, very big kitchen and very well stocked. Rooms are nice and always clean. Will always chose this hotel when I am in the area.

It's a very cosy hostel in Doolin village. The owners: Carmel and Mattie are very friendly and they also own a B&B that is located next to the hostel. They are helpful and nice. The hostel is very good located (around 2,5 km from the Doolin Pier) and can be a good start to visit Cliffs of Moher (about 16...

The room was quiet nice and there were towels and shower gel included. We drove from Shannon Airport by bus. Because the bus to Ennis was late we were afraid that we would miss the second one from Ennis to Doolin. But the driver of the bus ensured that it would wait. And even if we start with half an...

Absolutely loved this Hostel! It was roomy and clean and really quite central to many things in the area. Carmel is a lovely woman to deal with-so kind and helpful--as well as incredibly quick moving (make sure you keep up of you will lose her on the way to your room :-) ) And speaking of room, I loved mine....

So relaxing, both Carmel and Mattie have such a good outlook on running a Hostel. Lovely and clean. Great place to stay. So central, perfectly located to wonderful music pubs. The 3 Aran islands are close by and each of them are so worth a visit. Go see the cliffs of Moher from here, a special place!! Gary

My friend and I had arrived in Doolin fairly late in the day and didn't feel like continuing on to our final destination. We hadn't planned on staying in Doolin for the night so we had no accommodation that evening. Thankfully, the hosts at Rainbow Hostel were super welcoming and had a couple beds for us to use. This place...

Really nice clean modern hostel, from the very well equipped kitchen to the cosy living room and clean comfortable rooms. The welcome was warm and friendly. There was tons of useful local information about the local area.... including the Cliffs of Moher

We arrived at the hostel and I had requested the wrong dates, not including our first night. No problem. They accommodated us. Then I screwed up the rate and they helped us out with that. They provided rides to the pier, gave good advice on what do do, the place was clean and everything done with a smile. Couldn't be...
