In a lovely location at the heart of Scorton, The Priory offers a wonderful range on English foods sourced locally. The beautiful architecture of the old building and the lovely interior design create a warmly feel. The food is delicious and the staff are friendly. I would definitely recommend coming here.

Most of the staff are also lovely it's a shame though that children are expected to be silent and, the rules say, that children have to stay sat at the table at all times. I can understand why but...

lovely restaurant you should visit as the food is first class. As a family we choose the home made burgers, chicken club house special and chicken an stuffing sandwich on fresh granny bread. The only thing they could improve on is the length of time to wait after moderns meals.

Lovely cherry scones with jam and cream followed by milkshakes and coffee. The nick nacks in the shop were great too. I managed to buy some birthday presents. A great little place for a trip out. A lovely seating area outside that wasn't for smokers, this makes a change a definate thumbs up from me. Will be back here again.
