Nestled in the cocoon of the mighty Sahyadris, Encore –a Boutique Resort is a blissful, enchanting retreat miles away from the chaotic city life.
This is a cute resort situated meters away from the Mulshi lake. The entrance of the resort greets you well with pleasant ambience and staff(Sarijana & Rashmi). It's a small and warm resort with only around 13 rooms for stay. Rooms 1008 to 1011 has good view of the Mulshi lake. They have a sunset point within the resort and it's a treat to be there at the right time. Due to Covid protocols the swimming pool was off the limit. The staff is helpful and quick to respond. 'Sachin' was one of the best caretaker, we loved his service. Due to chill climate at night they do offer free room coffee post dinner. They have only one restaurant - 'Coffee Cafe' and food here is very fresh and tastes well and is decently priced. The centre lawn in the morning is filled with dew and gives a very meditative feeling. Their in house games have decent spread. We travelled to the resort via Pune and Sus village. The road construction is on and was in bad state and that easily added about 40mins more to travel time.
Resort can do much much better if they follow Covid protocols strictly and take care of cleanliness in some areas of the room. Rest everything is fantastic.
Would visit the place again in future.

It was a chance find for me. After two years of lockdowns, ever changing restrictions, travel bans, and overload of negativity, the resort came for our rescue. It was a splash of positivity and fresh air first time in almost 2 years.
The resort is located on the banks of Mulshi Lake and on a hill which offers a clear view of the lake and surroundings. The lake is surrounded by huge mountains and since it is a part of Tata Power plant it's conserved really well and is free of overly enthusiastic and boozing tourists. You experience pure nature and serenity without any disturbances and pollution.
Resort is spread over large tracts of land and it's appropriately landscaped so that you have independent two rooms with separate approaches which ensures privacy. It has 3 swimming pools of which two were functional. They are cleaned and filtered regularly.
The rooms are spick and span, with hot water geyser, an electric kettle, air conditioning and a dehumidifier.
The staff is polite and always at beck and call. Room service is super efficient.
There are indoor games (though out in open) like fussball, table tennis, and carrom. There's an open ground with facilities to play football and badminton too. On the backside end of the property there's a machan / highest viewing point from where you can enjoy sunrise and sunset.
The only downside is food spread and variety. The food quality and taste is great but variety / spread limited. The breakfast spread is only Indian (north and south) and lunch / dinner options again are only north indian and Chinese. Healthy options aren't available. Even if you ask for, you won't get less oily / no oil food.
Barring this the overall stay was awesome. A must visit place if you are looking for a short break in serene and tranquil surroundings and you want to go there only to relax and enjoy.

A lovely property with a number of well maintained lawns and trees. The staff are excellent, very obliging and helpful. Hussain from the housekeeping staff in particular would literally come running to assist whenever any request was made. The restaurant staff was great too, in particular Reshmi who was always on hand to ensure that you were looked after. Only feedback was that i requested for a room with a good view of the lake, was told all upper rooms had a good view. However the room i got had a slightly obstructed view. There are only 4 rooms that have a clear unobstructed view. Considering i was one of the first to check in that day would have been nice if allocated one of those 4 rooms. Otherwise a wonderful place to relax, plenty of space and a well maintained property made even better by the staff.

Encore's location provides a scenic view of the Mulshi lake from all rooms balcony and the tall mountain range covered in clouds, waterfalls & thick forest on the back side. The room is lavish, clean, with a sit out/balcony to enjoy the views while sipping coffee. The resort has huge swimming pools but we couldn't dip in as it was raining. The lunch & dinner is Ala carte. Food is excellent with prompt service. The breakfast spread is also sumptuous. I should specially mention Ms Shreya at reception, FNB captain Mr Santosh & the Resort Manager Mr Dinesh for making our stay pleasant & peaceful.

Check in - check out - entire experience was seamless.
Property is location in the midst of green cover, one side scenic view of backwaters and the other side is covered with beautiful lush green cover of mother nature . location is awesome, staff and hospitality is superb.
To mention few Shreya - at the reception was too quick , checkin was fast and easy .
Rashmi at the restaurant was amazing in her speed of serving food to the guest , hospitality was amazing , food suggested by here was very tasty.
Rooms were nicely decorated, view from galary was awesome , we could see the back waters from the varanda .
Highly recommended property.
I celebrated my kid birthday at the Encore Resort Mulshi .
5 star to the property location, staff and service .

Overall a good stay at the resort. Reception staff Shreya was very courteous and friendly. Great hospitality.
Suggestions:
1. Network connectivity to operate mobile phone calls should be looked into. 2. Recreation facilities items( Foosball, Carrom coins, Cricket bat needs to be replaced) 3. Buffet breakfast for South Indian dishes needs improvement. 4. Housekeeping to ensure that toiletries should be replaced instead of guest asking for it. 5. Provision for alternative transport should be considered for guests who use the cab services and do not drive.

They have aptly named the Resort. All I can say is"Encore" . Wouldn't be my last visit here for sure. Covid has been difficult for everyone and hence I guess the property needs a bit more to be worked upon. Some parts of the property seemed unkempt. However the staff and their service is exemplary. I would give the staff 7 out of 5 stars. Right from Reservation to checkout the staff made everything effortless. Special shout out to Shrijana, Dinesh, Biswajeet, Divya, Reshmi and Shreya.... I stayed there with my wife. All we wanted was a break from the daily mundane and we got more than what we expected. The rooms are tastefully designed. Spacious and well thought of. The balconies give great views without compromising on Privacy. The food though limited in choice is lip smackingly good. Attention to detail in taste, texture and presentation is commendable. They have scored extra brownie points in this department. The beautiful panoramic view of the Mulshi lake and mountains combined with the well designed resort topped of with the exceptional service is something worth doing again. Thank You Team Encore.

We first visited this place in February for lunch with a group of friends for our marriage anniversary and liked the place which is very nicely landscaped over a steep-ish hillside. . But when I tried to book a room in March for my wife's birthday, the prices had gone up substantially from 3999 plus tax to 6499 plus tax. Breakfast included. We booked a room anyway because we were planning to celebrate my wife's birthday there. In short, it is a large property set on a hillside with open fields, plenty of garden & plants, and it offers a panoramic view of the surrounding hills and the Mulshi Lake in front of it. There is a watchtower also for a better viewing experience, particularly of the sunset. All rooms are plush and have Wi-Fi. Many of the rooms offer a view of the lake and the hills even while lying in your bed. Whats more one can drive right up to most of the rooms. There are four swimming pools, and a place for spending time playing carom, table tennis, chess etc. Food is wholesome. Bar facility is available.Service is excellent . The staff are eager to help and to please. Special mention must be made of Ms. Shreya, Ms Reshmi, Mr Papai, Mr.Dinesh and others led by Mr Shiva Chatterjee, the resort Manager. The hotel stay was very pleasant and comfortable. The staff was very polite and helpful, the location was very convenient for getting around and many activities. If we were to travel to Mulshi again, we would definitely stay there again! A must recognition to Dipak who takes care of the entire property. He was really helpful and in complete touch for any query or assistance.. Please pass along my gratitude to the entire team. We had gone for a day picnic trip with family and kids. Great food, staff very co operative, professional and very kind. Food quantity is also good and reasonably priced. Further the whole resort is neat, tidy, clean and very well maintained. Our host Miss Komal was very kind and thoughtful as we had kids and 1 senior citizen with us also. She made our trip memorable one. Will definitely visit once again and will go for an overnight stay. Perfect lake view and mountain view resort. Easy to locate through google maps. Note:No network coverage area. We had Airtel, Vodafone, Idea all 3 networks don't work at all. Very little and poor range of Jio only at some spots. Again Miss Komal helped us here, by providing resort wifi, because of which we were able to make/receive calls through VoWifi service of Airtel and Jio. Regards, Vishal

It is kids friendly in terms of general and recreational facilities. The food (from the menu) was excellent but my experience with 'made to order food' wasn't that great. So I wouldn't depend on their kitchen for food for a year old baby. Better go prepared.
There are more places to choose from in the Varak area.
