Overall it was really good stay. I went with my family and it was a pleasant stay. Pro. Hotel is in nature and forest. Food is good. Staff is helpful. They have a big property where you can roam arround. Cons. Try avoiding in the rainy season as litches are there. Rooms can be more cleaner in perspective of insects, have something to avoid the insects.

A long drive and a stay away from all the hassles of busy city life was long pending and we decided to make use of the long weekend that came with the October 2 public holiday. As usual, it was an unplanned trip and booking was done only on 28th of September. Booking was done using Yatra.com, we booked one of their Fairy Tale Cottages (everything else was booked by then). Google maps will take you to the right place without any issues, and you would love the drive. The resort is located about 26Km away from Virajpet. The resort is part of 100acre plantation which has a waterfall, and the construction is done in a way with minimal impact on the environment. After climbing the hill, we reach the reception and you can park your vehicle there. All the cottages are located uphill side by side. Cottage which was allotted to us were one among the last ones and we had to always depend on their offroad Jeep/Gypsi to get there and come down. But that was fun, my son really enjoyed the rides. Restaurant is located near the reception and they pick-up and drop off upon our request. The rooms were cleaned and arranged well. Our cottage named Delgatie, was very spacious and had a room upstairs that they will arrange if we request for an additional bed. It had a fridge, a TV and a kettle. Cottage was facing the forest and we could always hear sound from the waterfalls. You can go near the waterfalls by walk, just make sure to get the rubber boots (we took it from reception) as there might be leeches all the way. Restaurant was really spacious and food was tasty. Breakfast and dinner was part of the package I opted and both were Buffet. For lunch, we ordered in advance a la carte. We didn't go out of the resort both days as it was raining heavily. They also do plantation walks (kids below 7yrs not allowed), off-road drive (check with reception on the availability) and there are indoor activities and a swimming pool. We could only do a walk to the waterfalls as other options were not feasible due to rain, we didn't feel bored though! Staff there were extremely helpful, they are always available at a phone call. What could have been better? There was a delay in arranging the room. We waited for more than 30 minutes at the reception, though we reached half past 3. May be because it was fully booked and staff were really busy. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Misty Woods. Thanks to all the staff for all the efforts that you put in. …

I visited this resort on 29-July, 2023 along with my family and kids and stayed one night. We booked two luxurious rooms asters and Begonia cost Rs 13000/per night. Our whole expectation shattered when we found 1. Rooms are shabby and dirty, stinking 2. Bedsheets are pale, stinky 3. No wifi and cable connection 4. bathrooms are not cleaned, not all lights are functioning in bathroom 5. room service staffs are dirty and unhygienic as their cloths were smelling horribly 6. lack of maintenance is observed everywhere 7. I had to call managers number of times to get clean bedsheets though those were not fresh. Only good part was food which was testy. !! PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE !!

One of the best stays at Coorg. Huge property and very well maintained. The cottages are well designed with great views. The property also has a private and beautiful waterfalls. The staff is great and the food was excellent. Manager Justin is every ready to help. And head-chef Imanuel's cooking was mouth watering. Some great places to visit very close to the property - Tadinadmol trek (best trekking spot), Kabbe hills (another beautiful short trek), Challuvera falls, Nalpada palace (must visit - the guide was super helpful).

All the staff are incredibly helpful and the location is absolutely superb. There are a lot of activities to do in and around the resort, and the staff go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable and interesting as possible. Definitely recommend it for any family holidays or weekend getaways - it is truly a refreshing place to stay. Great variety of delicious food as well!

My wife and I stayed there for four days. When we came back, we missed everything, the abundance of nature, the food, the hospitality, the adventures, the weather, in fact we even discussed if we could be tenants in the cottages throughout the year. Will definitely recommend this to every one.

I had been to Misty woods resort with my friends and stayed for 2nights. Talking about hospitality the staff here is uncooperative. Rooms are not up to the mark as they say it is a 3 star property. Literally they don't no what 3 star mean !!! Charged 60rupees for 1litre water bottle No trekking shoes were provided for the guests to avoid from leech and no staff people will accompany us if we want to go for a trek. Worst experience ever and this is not at all a 3 star property.
