El Sitio is such an inspiring place, beautiful views and gardens, with little sculptures and stone carvings to find among the plants. Yes the facilities are quite basic but all you need with a little kitchen, extra blankets and a heater if it's cold (the temperature drops a lot at night). The beds are comfortable too, although they are all...

The appartment has all you need considering you're in the countryside and you don't expect luxury room but you have the nature, the flowers, the plants, just out of the door. It's a perfect place to relax, without televion, without noise, great views and a point to go treking along the island (that's absolutely wonderful if you want to walk)....

We stayed in the room Tarcon, which is also suitable for wheelchair access. Large comfortable beds, small kitchenette with all the basic utensils provided. An outdoor sitting area, which we were lucky to have the a Queen of the Night cactus hanging above (the flower only blooms at night and are phenomenal to watch.) There are several cabins which all...

We spent two nights in the apartment Isora facing the sea in El Sitio last December. Smelly, dirty, humid (bad isolation) and, no need to say, expensive for its 60€ per night. The worst point: black worms (about 5 cm long) invading the site and found by hundreds, even inside the bed... Besides this, kitchen utensils not very clean, water...

So peaceful is El Sitio en Frontera, that on arrival my apartment key was taped to the entrance door, together with a message and a flower! Accommodation is set in 7 or 8 simple little stone cabins, basically but functionality furnished, and each with a small private sitting area outside, surrounding by trees, flowers and birdsong. The steep hillside location...

If you go for 5 star hotels , maybe you should go somewhere else. Here you will get a nice little cottage with practically everything you need. The cottages are located in a wonderful garden. The place is peaceful and quiet. The 'sala' is the place you go to connect to the WiFi and talk with other guests. Sometimes there's...

El Sitio is pretty amazing. Located above El Golfo high on the northern slopes. You wake up and see ocean from your bed. Have a breakfast on private terrace and listen to the bells of goats on the rocks above the house. You can walk down to the village and the coast or hike up to Jinama and Camino de...
