We returned here for two nights on 27th and 28th March, and this time we experienced another warm welcome, and a delightful room which was clean and very comfortable. We also ate from the bar menu (homemade burgers were delicious), and breakfast both mornings was a treat. Linda was again most helpful with her local knowledge and was able to...

Hotel location excellent. Easy walk to shopping outlet and the blacksmith visitors centre. The host Linda was excellent she gave us good information on how to easily walk to the blacksmiths. The food was all freshly served using all good quality produce. Service was first class. Would definitely recommend this hotel. 😀😀

Old fashioned style pub with shelves with brass / books / etc and outdoor seating for drinks & food if the weather is ok - we were there on a sunny day and had food inside but coffee outside . . delightful. Pub...

We received a very warm welcome from Linda when we arrived early at the Hotel and just parked up and went walkabout. Linda very kindly phoned...

We were traveling to Scotland and decide to find a hotel on the way. We were lucky to find Linda and the hotel. The family room that was free was massive with a 4 poster for us and 2 singles for the children. It was extremely clean and comfortable. The breakfast was also a big hit. If I had to...

Our stay was short but sweet. We were welcomed warmly, and our room was clean, cosy and comfortable. Linda was very helpful with advice about our plans for the next day, and her delicious breakfast hit all the right spots.

Stayed here on a stopover from Scotland back to England. Had the family room which had was a double room and a single room with a door in between. This was ideal for us and our teenage child.
