Even busy we ate outside on a lovely warm evening. The meal was quicker than we expected. The food was lovely. The fish I would recommend again . They came out to ask if everything was ok. Very polite

Called in for lunch after shopping , very impressed with the service. All the staff were helpful and when I asked what the Mississippi chicken was like the girl taking our order described it perfectly. It was delicious.

Needed somewhere nice to eat that was not fast food. Found the Gretna inn after reading reviews we decided to give it a go. The waitress was lovely and very friendly. The food was really tasty would definitely recommend and will hopefully be back sometime.

Stopped at this inn on the way south after a weekend in Edinburgh for some food. The staff were very friendly, decor needs updating, meals were excellent and well priced, good wholesome pub food from local produce, recommend it for a quick bite.

We decided to stop here on our trip south to watch the football in the advertised "sports" bar. We stayed for about 4 minutes, grizzly welcome, asked about the football, got grunted at and reluctantly put it on one TV whilst the other 3 TVs were off. The TV was directly behind the bar which was, even at 12 noon,...

Called again on Saturday,4 adults, 2 children.Could not have been treated better, we were welcomed by young waitress, the boys' choices were taken into account although they are vegan.Lunch as usual was good pub grub at realistic price when you consider that the Inn is in a tourist area across from a retail park.

I can recommend The Gretna Inn for drinks and a toilet stop when on coach journeys. Picture postcard setting just across the road from the coach park. It also has a lovely little beer garden surrounded by beautiful flower baskets. Much better choice than the overpriced services.
