The Hyatt Regency Hua Hin garners praise for its scrupulous cleanliness and well-kept grounds. Its location is a hit among guests for its easy access to the beach and serene ambiance. While the club rooms and suites receive accolades for their spaciousness and amenities, some find the standard rooms a bit lackluster. The staff's dedication to service is often highlighted, though opinions on value diverge with concerns over hidden costs. The hotel's atmosphere and amenities, especially the pools and spa, contribute to its charm, despite suggestions for gym improvements.

Had a very fine 2-week stay at the Hyatt Hua Hin during the second half of January. Temperature at 30-34 C every day, sun shining, a few windy days though, and one day with a few drops of rain. An ideal time for a holiday in Hua Hin. Temperature in the sea and in the pool about 29 C. An enormous pool area, with several pool choices oboth for adults and kids. Never so many people in the water that I couldn't swim 50 meter laps without problems. Really a pleasure.
Had an economy room with a large terrace with a sofa and a cushion chair, which we used every night for reading and relaxing, - good lightning and no mosquitos. The room was well equipped, with a small fridge, water kettle, tea and coffee, even an iron and ironing board. A huge TV and a nice sofa, though it was placed so that it was impossible to use it for watching the screen. You had to sit in the bed to watch TV, which was uncomfortable. The bed was good for sleeping, though, maybe a bit too hard for some.
Excellent buffet breakfast with both western and thai food. We never got tired of choices even after two weeks. A wide choice of bread , fruit and cereals. Very good service with tea and coffee being served quickly. And even with lots of guests, we never had to wait for a free table.
We usually went out for dinner at the night market or local eateries close by. La Birra nearby had good and reasonable food and drinks, as well as good music nightly, and very friendly service. But never give away your bank card there, mine was skimmed and misused.
We had lunch at the hotel several time. Afternoon tea at McFarland House was reasonably priced and really a treat. The pool cafe, however, was a disappointment as for the food: Dry and overdone chicken wings, the fish in fish and chips was dry and tasteless.
Altogether we had an excellent stay at this hotel, with fine service. Will recommend.

This is our tenth visit to Hua Hin, but our first time staying at the Hyatt Regency. We usually stay at the Centara, but have stayed once at the Anantara and Amari too. We chose the Hyatt this time due to the recent Hotel refurbishments. We spent most of December here and were glad we made this choice. We had a fantastic stay and were very impressed with the standards of the room and upkeep of the grounds. Peemai from the housekeeping team was a wonderful lady who kept our room immaculate and made sure we had everything we needed.
The staff at the hotel are all so friendly and welcoming. We loved chatting to Wee, Jo and Tony at the pool. Sorry I can’t remember all names but every single one of the pool boys were lovely. I enjoyed Mee’s aqua classes and the slide was great fun too.
The gardeners would say hello when you walked past and kept the grounds immaculate. Breakfast staff were wonderful and took pride in their jobs from cooking your eggs however you liked and bringing your drinks over. Like the reception and security staff, they were always smiley and friendly. It was nice to see Christian the general manager walking around, as well as his other managers, who always stopped for a chat.
The Hotel is in a great location with Cicada and Tamarind weekend markets at the top of the road. If you want to go to Market Village, Bluport Mall or into the night market and centre of Hua Hin it’s easy to flag down the baht bus at the top of the road (10 baht per person before 7pm and 15 baht after 7pm) or a tuk tuk will cost you 150 baht. The Hotel has a shuttle bus into town and the bluport or market village for 50 baht pp. There is a supermarket and 7eleven as well as family mart, all within walking distance of the Hyatt.
We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel and will definitely choose it for our next visit. My husband and I had a great stay and memorable Christmas with 35 degrees of sunshine every day.

We have returned to the Hyatt Regency in Hua Hin for the past five years and continue to find all aspects of the hotel to be of excellent quality. The hotel is set in beautifully maintained landscaped gardens with sufficient areas and loungers for a relaxed vacation. The food selection is of a high quality and the position of the hotel offers convenient access to both the beach and town facilities. The Cicada market ( open Saturday and Sunday evenings ) is positioned a few hundred yards from the hotel and offers both excellent food, an interesting selection of crafts and musical entertainment. The ‘green bus’ service operates along the main road into town (approx. 10 minute ride ) for a mere 10 baht (15 baht after seven o’clock) Just wave them down and they will stop for you, ring the bell whenever you want the green bus to stop !! An interesting and often an exciting experience not to be missed !! In all an excellent location. Staff are great and obliging and I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone requiring a relaxed, high quality hotel.

Due Covid-19 we resided several month in Hua Hin. The special staycation rates provided fantastic opportunity to explore the most popular / trendy hotels around Hua Hin/Cha-am area.
Finally we decided to return to our most favorite Hotel, The Hyatt Regency Hua Hin!
It’s far the best location with the best beach area! The new rooms are stunning designed for an comfortable staycation. The pool is far the best layout - don’t forget the slider! Not only the kids are loving it!
The management team is always around for interaction with the guest, I strongly believe the guest feedback is always the most valuable one.
The breakfast was served at figs with an great international selection. We did enjoy daily our dinners at McFarland House, the service and food is very enjoyable! After seen so many restaurants within the areas, the McFarland House has the best location on the beach! An incredible design, even if you get interrupted with an rain, it’s still very comfortable to enjoy the dinner.
The Barai Spa is one of the best in Hua Hin, we have explored many spa treatments around and it’s not beatable!

Highly recommended ! The best hotel in Hua Hin!
If you are staying at Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok, book the hotel shuttle bus for an very affordable rate directly to Hyatt Regency Hua Hin. Such an comfortable / efficient move!

We had a really relaxing experience, great service, great food, the hotel is on a very nice location of beach and has many little green spots where you can really unwind. Best of all, I love the way they put attention to details on everything especially how they care for environment. I hope all hotels pay attention to preserve environment like Hyatt Hua hin does. Thank you for that. I will go back again for sure.

Holiday mood takes over the moment you set foot in this picturesque property of Hyatt and making your experience merrier with every passing moment is the magnificent Mr. Christian Wurm and his team!

My wife and I were overwhelmed beyond imagination by this BEAutiful resort, so much so that we unanimously decided to only step out of Mr. Wurm's realm upon check-out!

Going around the property with Ms. Joob was as exciting as much as a pleasure it was indulging in the various activities like archery, physical training classes, table-tennis etc. on offer.

Bingeing on the scrumptious delicacies coming from the kitchen of chef Mr. Vincenzo was a delight to say the least! They gladly arranged for Indian vegetarian dishes for us at breakfast too!

The pool, featuring a fantastic water slide, and beach area were ideal for a fun-filled afternoon.

Our impressive suite, having all comforts and amenities and refurbished in a contemporary manner, was decorated appropriately topped with heartfelt notes, a cake, fresh fruits and beverages. We were touched and highly appreciated every single thing they did to make our special occasions even more noteworthy!

We left with a ginormous smile and a solemn promise to be back soon to absorb their flawless hospitality and experience another wonderful break at this superb resort amongst the warmest hosts!

For all intelligent travellers visiting Hua Hin, taking the Regency Club Lounge access is a must and so is getting a traditional Thai massage at their phenomenal The Barai spa; staying at the Hyatt Regency Hua Hin is implied!

Out and out, I firmly state that all at the Hyatt Regency Hua Hin are sublime!

Kudos!

God bless! 😇

This is the first time i bring my 1.5 years old son to travel in Hua Hin. I want to give him a good memory. So i booked this 5 stars resort even i worked in Accor hotel.

Once arrived, the front office staff was very polite to welcoming us and i am surprise to get a free upgrade to next room category. Front office staff also provide very details information and show me on the map where is our room, the restaurant, swimming pool , spa , kids club....

Room Size was big and suitable for family of 3, baby cot was well prepared.
They provide a big screen television, my kids like it so much.
All the amenities are provided and we can also borrow the milk Bottle Sterilizers from hotel, it's complimentary.

Hotel area was so big and all the scene was great, from the garden to the swimming pool. My son enjoy with the swimming pool, this is his first time swimming at the pool. Beach front was clean and quiet.

Breakfast at the morning was very great with variety choice. But it was a bit crowdy even we come on week days.

All the staff greet and smile with us all the time, even we saw GM Mr. Christian near the swimming pool , he also greet to us.

One more things, under the Covid-19 situation, i feel very safe. all staff wear facial mask, check in counter have plastic curtain cover and alcohol are prepared.

Thank you for giving me and my family a memorable stay.
I definitely will come back to stay in the future.

Supanut S.

It was great vacation with my kids and 2 loved dogs, goldenretriever.
We stayed 2 rooms that’s connected and we had enough space for everyone.
Only thing to wish is to have fence around the balcony. We stayed ground floor and couldn’t use balcony just because my dogs tried to go out to the road right next to it. There were plants but not much so they could go. If not, they could enjoy outside too and could feed them water outside so that no spills inside room.
If not fence, something to put their leashes still work.

Also I wished to have shampoo service or some place for drying them. Since my dogs are big, it was hard for us to dry inside room.

Overall my kids enjoyed so much having holiday with dogs and I’m so grateful 😊

Easy place to sit back and relax. I loved that there was kite boarding. The staff made it easy. Possibly the only disappointment was the massage. The spa environment was stunning but the massage was average and so it felt over priced even when it was on special. The massage that I experienced outside were much better, obviously less expensive and of course not the atmosphere of the Hyatt Spa. Hotel restaurants were fabulous. The overall stay was so enjoyable that I would consider coming back.

There is one employee, name k’Tukta at figs restaurant, she did not allowed me and my girlfriend to have breakfast buffet at the restaurant in my stay at the hotel which her dirty look and speech upon checking my dress from head to toe was definitely unacceptable and has create negative aspect for me.

Let me tell you that I had my cloths packed and prepared for couple days which are shorts and t shirt like normal peoples who go for vacation at the beach wear and I am confident that there is nothing wrong with my cloth or my girlfreind’s , and style of dressing should not be judged by the staffs and definitely does not have to be kicked out from the restaurant that I already pay for it.
After that one staff with a bald head who speak English (Im not sure if he is manager or another staff) came to our room to apologize with the couple plate of breakfast set and looking at my dress once again at the room which I doubt that he come to complain more or apologize. ( since I doubt his apology is genuine or not because he said “the staff said that you wear a pajamas”), so I ask him you, come to my room to complain more?) and me and my girlfriend have to eat and drink only what they gave us.

I have travel a LOT! And NO staff of any other 4-5 stars hotel ever ask me to leave rudely in front of many other guests to go back to my room to change my cloths even if it was not PAJAMAS at all!! And oh by the way, the time was around 10:00 AM and the breakfast almost over at that moment.

I had no intention to have another breakfast at the restaurant or room service at that trip after that event.
I had enough for that trip from hyatt regency HuaHin and definitely not going back to that branch. I used to be a royalty customer but after this time, after the services I got..nah nah! I should go somewhere else and I should not be here to get complained from staffs in regard of asking for service I should receive legitimately. Otherwise, what I pay for? For complaint and have to ask for food?!

Ps. No complimentary, no genuine approach from restaurant staff, no nothing, just small sorry from reception before check-out. GREAT! Bye

Hi Jacqui, Best to go the Hyatt website and try booking a room for 4 with ages 10 & 12. I tried it and it looks like it can be done. In addition to 'dummy booking' you could also try the 'Live Chat' on the website to confirm. I've stayed there with 3 kids and we had to take 2 rooms.

We stayed at the hotel in November 2023 and although we could see the large crane of the construction work behind the hotel we didn't experience any noise or disturbance in any part of the hotel including the spa which we used several times. Don't know when the work finishes but unless the construction changes markedly don't think it is an issue.

Not sure of the exact times but they were certainly available when we were awake and closed at a reasonable time. The private pool finishes before 5.30pm.
