Stayed one night midweek and the room was clean and spacious. Food in the restaurant was a good standard and the bar served local ales as well as standard beers and drinks. The welcome was warm and all staff friendly. Our room was above the bar and we could hear voices below us. The Inn is an old building and...

stayed overnight at this lovely old pub, in a beautiful secluded location very peaceful and relaxing. Our room was clean and comfortable. Had a delicious evening meal and plenty of excellent beers available. The only downside is it's noisy in your room until the pub has closed not a problem as long as you don't want an early night! Would...

The hotel was comfortable and welcoming. The surrounding countryside was stunning. Good food, although I found it odd that the catering was run as a separate enterprise. Service was a little slow, but who cares in such a relaxing environment.

Very close to Offa's Dyke Path, beautiful location, off the beaten track. No phone signal but we were used to that from walking the Offa's Dyke Path, so not a problem. The building is old and interesting, so nice traditional bar and food area. Unfortunately the historic decor hadn't quite reached my bedroom which was very cheaply and blandly furnished....

Booked this through buyagift. Fantastic value for money. Good Sunday lunch, good evening meal on the next night after an 8 mile walk. Breakfast was plentiful and really good. Our room was very quiet and comfortable. Overall would recommend.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The food, whilst not “fine dining” was top notch “pub grub” standard and we had a very enjoyable reasonably priced meal. It was very busy and the staff were very apologetic about us having to wait a short time for service but we were not at all bothered. Our room was reasonably sized,...

What a lovely place to stay! From the outside it doesn't look fantastic but as soon as you go in you are met with great warmth and lovely service; the hosts were very keen to meet every need! The room was very clean and had everything you would need. The evening meal was excellent and the breakfast outstanding!

Went here with my partner and my two sons (13 & 15) on 25 Mar. We'd rang ahead to check they could cater for someone who needs gluten free food. On the night, we had the waitress running to and from the kitchen to check what the GF selection was and it's more a case of the chef changing ingredients....

Stayed for two nights and had a great stay. Rooms very comfortable and quaint (old plumbing a bit noisy). Very quiet pub and area ideal for walkers. Evening meals are good and at a reasonable price. Breakfasts are exceptional. All the staff are very friendly.

We visited the Crown as we had a voucher for 2 nights B&B, we had not been to that area and as the pub had great reviews we gave it a go. We had a very good welcome and had a light, airy, very clean room with a comfortable bed and everything you needed. The food was very good we...
