Visited for lunch in June 2015. Service good, food mediocre. Clientele consisted of families and couples.A small group of Dublin lads came in & were very loud & boisterous, using obscene language. They were so loud we couldn't have a conversation. After about 20 minutes of this, the young girl serving our table asked if everything was alright. I took...

I am a local to Lahinch, and am writing this review as this is the second time in only a couple of weeks that we have been seriously disappointed with the service at The Shamrock which appears to have gone seriously downhill. Went in this evening for dinner, it was not overly busy and about 4 staff on yet we...

We stayed here for a hen party recently. I would highly recommend the place for any groups traveling to lahinch. The staff here are so friendly and accommodating, we couldn't have asked for anything better. We ate in the Atlantic and the food was amazing for both dinner and breakfast. All 25 of us on the hen had a fantastic...

Just stayed 3 nights at The Shamrock with our 2 young children in the family room. The room was a little tired but it didn't matter, was in such a great position overlooking roof tops to the sea! Also had a lovely sitting room next to our room which was lovely. Good Irish breakfast too included in the rate. Would...

Didnt get to stay there (even though I strongly wish I had!), but got the chance to eat at their restaurant and it was the best food I had in Ireland. Ordered the Lamb and the Turkey, and for dessert had the Warm Death by Chocolate - the name says it all. Strongly recommend it.

Rooms were clean but very worn. We reserved months in advance asking for quiet rooms but were very disappointed to be right above very loud kitchen, slamming door. We complained and staff were very nice and we moved to the Atlantic. Good if you're partying and surfing and just need to flop somewhere
