Il was a marvelous and extraodinary experience. The welcome, the atmosphere, the rooms, the restaurant, the bar, the leisure center were perfect. A timeless place, a stay not to be missed in Ireland. Really fantastic!

Had a coffee and a lovely walk in the gardens beside the golf clubhouse. There is outside seating in the gardens which makes for a pleasant afternoon. The castle itself is quite spectacular and the golf course is very well kept. Good transport link being near Shannon airport and just off the M18.

Had a fab relaxing meal in the great hall area. Really nice to drop in without a reservation and pick from their casual dining menu. Then sit and enjoy the food, the exceptional service and the location. Will go back soon again for afternoon tea but will book that in advance.
