Had a few pints and the most delicious meal ever. 10 out of 10. I said I would call in a second night to see could the steak and trimmings be as good a second night running and It was. The desert was fab also. Huge recommendation on the food here guys. Lovely traditional well cooked food.

I had a fantastic stay here back in May - Kathleen is a wonderfully warm host and made me feel right at home. After an excellent meal in the pub next door and a cheeky pint (for energy!) I headed off to a lovely night's rest and, the following morning, a delicious breakfast that had me perfectly set up for...

This is our second time to Hunters, previously to the pub and we loved it and the people so much we came back and stayed a couple days. Our hosts Robert and Kathleen couldn't be more gracious and accommodating. Our room was cozy, very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We've now had several meals each better than the...

Just exit from the motorway on the way to galway for lunch & what a treat. Chicken curry with rice & homemade chips. The curry had vegetables in it which i was a bit nervous of but what a mixture of flavours. A pint of excellent guinness to wash down. The gents toilets were not up to scratch & need...

We stayed here recently for one night (me, husband and son). We had a large room with a double and a single bed which cost €90 without breakfast. If we wanted breakfast it would have cost €135 euro. When I mentioned how expensive it was for breakfast (€45 for 3 breakfasts is expensive in any man's terms) it was explained...

We travelled Ireland's west coast for two weeks staying in BnB every night this would rank last in comfort and spaciousness and first in expense. Would not stay again. Our room faced the street was noisy ang fronted a street light.

We recently stayed here on our last night in Ireland. We've been to Ireland several times, and regret not choosing this guesthouse before. Robert and Kathleen were most warm and welcoming. The guesthouse is just next door to the restaurant/pub of the same name, operated by the same lovely folks. (The food and drink there is excellent, by the way!)...

This is a place for romance and those who love gardens and the country. My rating would be higher if I were staying for a romantic weekend and had a garden view room, but I was here for a golf outing. The service and the staff were fabulous and our room was okay, but then again, we looked over the...

Top notch service and value. Delicious food, clean and comfortable accommodations, and incredible service. Hunter's Lodge is family owned and operated and the proprietors, the Healy family, take great pride in providing a great experience for guests at both the lodge and the pub.

“Go for room away from the street if possible - traffic noise is loud in the morning.”

“I overheard someone inquiring about rooms while eating, and though we didn't stay here, it sounded like a good deal. Forty Euro for the night and breakfast, or 30 Euro without breakfast.”

“I would just add though that our room was at the front of the hotel and there was a little post-pub closing noise - nothing to cause a problem but maybe worth a mention if anyone is after a quieter room.”
