Stayed 2 nights (Friday and Saturday) in the Cabra Castle. Booking was made with booking.com and we were not aware that the accommodation that we paid for (€200 for 2 nights) was not in the hotel, but cottages on the grounds - this meant walking in the rain to the bar / restaurant, no WiFi access at all, and no...

Quiet Golf Course attached. Food basic but good quality, cheery staff. For the price We were expecting to stay in the main hotel we stayed in a quiet annex at the rear, but quite a distance from reception & main function rooms. A bit disappointed as this was not quite what we expected from a castle hotel.

Went as a guest at a wedding over two days and all together had a great experience, our accommodation was in the courtyard and was very spacious, a minor down side was the small wardrobe, the food was excellent as was the service, lovely setting.

We stayed in this Castle for 2 nights. Beautiful grounds with a golf course. Rooms were spacious and the meals delicious. We had a 3 course meal for a very reasonable price.Loved all the rooms that were decorated in the period area. Knights in shinning armour where located by the staircases. There were no elevators but the staff were very...

This was the beginning of our Ireland trip and the most memorable. So glad this was our first stop in Ireland! We were treated as family and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We stayed two nights and wish it were longer. Out room was amazing and the beds so comfortable. The wolfhounds, Oscar...

Wonderful hotel with excellent staff. down side was disabled access room was at the rear of the court yard and had a step of approx 12" up into the hallway, also a lot of stairs to negotiate to get to the wedding reception. Asked about a lift and was told only stairs available. While we enjoyed our stay and would...

My husband and I attended a lovely wedding at this hotel in July. It looks lovely when you arrive and the food at the wedding was very nice. However, we could not sleep due to noise of people passing outside our door and also above us. When I complained, Management knew this room was a problem so I was so...

Stayed here on a friday night with my girlfriend just for a short break. We paid €110 with breakfast included and judging by the style of the hotel and grounds it looks like it would be more expensive. Beautiful castle style building and perfect gardens and surroundings. We stayed in the cottages which were a short walk from the main...
