7adults and 4 children catered for exceptionally well. Fantastic good humoured staff with thorough knowledge of the menu. Had seafood chowder and mussels. Plates cleared. They have good drinks options also with Dingle gin served with wexford poachers tonic and a slice of orange. Fantastic view of the sea from the table.

We have been very good accommodated, thanks to Johnny! The Strand is right next to the beach and the view to the bay was terrific. For dinner you may visit some of the numerous Pubs and Restaurants around. The Irish Breakfast at the Strand was also marvelous. A good place to be!

Rooms are clean and well equipped, and the location is superb being right on the beach. We stayed during off-season so it was quiet enough. No breakfast so we sauntered up to a cafe instead, but they do serve a cracking pint in the bar! Lovely friendly staff, and would recommend.

I like to stay at the Strand for almost sentimental reasons but for nitty gritty facts it has a view to die for; to eat there, walk the beach and then go upstairs to watch the sunset over the bay is really something for me Big attraction to stay at the Strand is being so close to the water and...

Very disappointed with Lunch. Burger just tasted of herbs and not meat. Left most of it behind. Crab salad had lots of shell in it. Seafood chowder was ok, View was great but the food was very disappointing.

The location of The Strand is fantastic with great views towards the sea and across the bay however, once inside the guest house, our room was quite a disappointment. The decor in the attached Bistro is lovely and modern with a warm welcoming atmosphere but unfortunately this does not continue throughout the rest of the accommodation. Our room was rather...

I stop in here on Sunday last just for a quick bite. Had the Chicken Bap. It was so tasty. I absolutely loved it. At the same time having a perfect view over Kilkee Bay.......Beautiful restaurant and excellent staff.

6 for lunch on a sunny Kilkee day! We didn't stay at the hotel so I have no idea about that, but the outdoor seating at the bistro is the perfect place to stoke up before walking the stunning Kilkee cliffs. The crab on toast was very fresh and filling, topped off with fresh coffee or a Dublin Porter (by...
